You detect movement further into the crypt chamber. Humanoid in form, pale of skin, moving quickly and with an ape-like gait (walking using both hands and feet).

Kina is in agreement with Barnabus. "There's something deeply disturbing about having crypts located just a short distance from the torture chambers and prison cells. It's little better than a slaughterhouse."

"Aye , and I may have just seen the reason for the feelin'! Over there, I saw something moving over there!" cries out Barnabus as he tries to point at the odd beast. "Come here you! You don't want to make us come after you."
He takes a few steps inside and tries to discern if the creature is a threat or not.
As you step forward, the smell hits you like a ton of bricks....the smell of death, of decay, of things come back from the grave.
The creature scuttles out into view, pale, dead eyes staring at you, teeth like needles bared and gnashing. It hisses with a malevolence born of hatred. Except, the hiss was not from the creature before, it came from more to the side, and another of the fiends slides into view.

"Well, well, aren't you two the cutest couple. Well come on then, lets not be wasting our time." says Barnabus as he stalks toward the beast on the side both clearing the path for the others and closing distance on the monster.
Kina is less than confident given her recent failures, but tries anyway. Scraping her hoof on the floor, she screws up her courage and gallops forth, charging the two ghouls. Again, attempting to disable one of the ghouls by sweeping out its legs while she brings her staff down on the other in an athletic strike.
Well, that went about as ******* expected. I forgot to add a damage roll, but the sweep was a 1, of course, and editing the post to add the damage broke the rolls somehow. And, I did minimum damage because I'm not allowed to contribute. (4)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: When dice fall on the floor, the rolls don't count, usually because they are not witnessed. As I didn't see the previous rolls, I'm going with what I see here.)
Kina cracks the first ghoul across the face with her staff, seemingly causing it serious injury, before spinning sweeping the legs out from the second, sending it skidding across the floor.
The first tries to retaliate with teeth and claws: Bite: Attack: 12 Damage: 10 Claw: Attack: 8 Damage: 9
Missing both times.
The second scrambles back to its feet, hissing its hatred and returns to the fray.
((Appreciated.... but I know that the dice roller has hit me with 7 1's in the past 17 rolls I've made... it really hates me for some reason and it's really getting old. I'm like Danny Sexbang trying to play Wheel of Fortune over here.))

Barnabus advances under the cover of his shield meeting the floored ghoul as it is regaining it feet. Fife lashes out with a flash before retreating back behind the defensive barrier.
(OOC: Maybe the DM will let some of the players use the in-sheet dice roller instead. I do this in some of my games now, with the players just typing in the values they rolled. With the Game Log now available, those rolls can be verified if there is ever doubt. Just an idea, might allow some of the players to try that other dice option, since the forum dice roller is not treating them very well... Just a thought, and needs to be OKed by the DM if it is to happen, but wanted to put it out there.)
How does the Game Log work? I've seen the dice rolling on the character sheets but not familiar with the log. Is that the Alpha Combat Tracker?
OK I see it on the right side, and see that Barnabus rolled and I did a test initiative roll (10) after that. Is there an easy way to match rolls there to action here?)
