Northlands Campaign

(Copy that .... and yeah, since ponies alone come in at up to 1400 .... )

Barnabus knows when to stay out of the way. So instead of crowding into a place he's not needed he maintains a sentry position at the entrance to the other passage.

Initiative: 14

The hallway goes straight for 80' and turns left.  Cade is already 30' down the length of it with a single guard at the bend, an arrow sprouting from his shoulder.

From beyond the bend you hear voices, but cannot yet make out anything that they are saying.

Wil: 22 -- active turn

Wil lets loose an other arrow at the furthest guard.

Attack: 25 Damage: 10

Kina will follow in behind Cade, giving him support from being flanked. She doesn't really have a target as of yet though. She can't help but feel sorry for the poor fool who stuck his head out.

Wil's arrow flies, catching the last visible guard in the throat before he can utter a sound.

Perception check:  18

 You hear a cry of alarm come from around the corner as he crumples.

Cade charges around the corner and then closes with whomever he finds there. Holding off on any attacks, as not sure of the distance and if he will get within range on a single move...

Dash will get you to the room and up to 10' inside.  As you round the corner, you see 3 more cultists, and 1 dressed like the squad leader you had previously captured.

Knowing that moving up will only put him in Cade and Kina's way, Barnabus places himself squarely in the middle of the hall with Bart, Rachel and Will flanking him but slightly behind. He makes sure to stay low as the group advances behind the forward force of Kina and Cade so that he won't impede their ranged attacks but can still provide cover. Once the cultists are in view he begins to bang upon his shield with his axe as a means of distraction to the acolytes in hopes that it will provide advantage to the next attack. (Bart specifically)

(Cade will do a dash then.)

The men in the guard room are scrambling as Cade-bear comes barreling into the room, calling for additional help, but they are unprepared to take any additional action.  The room is about 20'x30' with an open doorway to the north.

(Barnabus, if you want to switch to a dash to keep up with Cade, you are good to make the change, and Wil, you still have movement for the round to close the gap as well.)

Wil moves up close enough to cover Cade, Kina, and Barnabus, but back enough to stay out of their way.

Kina charges to keep pace with Cade. She bangs her staff on the floor, getting their attention on her.
"Surrender and you might live through this!" she barks at them, brandishing her staff but also aware that the rest of the group hasn't caught up to the pair of them. She will spend her action on a dodge.

Bart will bring up the vanguard and says "Yes listen to the beautiful lady. Put your hands up and we wont release our bear friend onto you" He says training his arrow at the leader. I'm gonna make a intimidation check (if that's not okay I will just fire an arrow if they answer negatively). Intimidation: 17

There is a table and chairs in this room and seems to be a ready room for the guards.  Glancing through the open doorway to the north (on the right from the entryway), a full barracks with tables and bunk beds can be seen.  Some figures can be seen starting to stir there.  More important are the four drawing weapons and calling for help as they advance.

Cade is in the room, anyone that did not dash last turn will have ranged attacks at the end of their move this round, or can dash down the hallway to reach the room.

Wil launches an arrow each at two of the ones drawing weapons.

Attack 1: 15 Damage: 11

Attack 2: 26 Damage: 8

The first arrow strikes home, but the cultist is still up (barely), and the second arrow catches the leader in his left eye and sends him sprawling.

Cade growls and attacks the closest of the enemies...

With the two figures to his right already struck, Cade circles the table to the left and wreaks havoc as he goes, dropping another cultist with each attack.

Cade:  you still have 20' of movement available and can reach the open doorway to the north where there is noise and movement if you so choose.

There is one, severely injured, cultist left alive in the guard room.
