Arona positions herself under the smoke mephit and is able to jump up to attack the flying creature, almost knocking it out with an uppercut. (This isn't really an easy thing to do usually, 10ft is the height of a basketball rim and that's just the bottom of the creature so especially with an unarmed attack it's tough to get up there and get power behind the attack. But since you're a monk I'll say you can do it)
The other mephit flies forward and breathes its own cone of smoke around Scal and Viridi.
Scal dex save: 10

Scal is narrowly able to avoid enough of the ash but the particles get into Viridi's eyes, and she is now blinded
Rácz bites down his teeth from inhaling any dust particles in the air, the the smoky breath mephits released, he closes one eye and aims the magic wand at the mephit at T12 again, the arcane energy rushes through the wand he's holding and forms three [Tooltip Not Found] shooting towards it.
Arona runs over to Viridi and grabs a magic stone from her hands before turning around and hurling it as hard as she can towards the last smoke mephit. "You might need to make a few more of these," Arona shouts over her shoulder to Viridi as she runs closer to the flying mephit, "If this bugger stays in the air, then my fists aren't going to be of much use!"

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
The magic stone hits the smoke mephit in side of the chest and the fire bolt hits it in the chest. However, the creature appears to absorb the fire into its smoky form and doesn't seem to take any damage from it.
Viridi is up next (still blinded but can still act and then try to save from it at the end of the turn) then any of you to start the next round.
Unable to see her target, Viridi's throw sails wide. However, the last barrage of magic missiles from Rácz is enough to put down the last smoke mephit.
Arona steps forward and takes the Chain Shirt off of the pillar before handing it to Rácz and saying, "You or Viridi should wear this... I'm not sure who it would fit better."

This time, instead of the two doors you've come to expect, there are three doors that form in the northern wall. The one on the left shows a picture of a few short bottles of various sizes containing various colors of liquid that has a medium-brightness steady glow. The one on the right shows a picture of a breastplate that is quickly pulsing with a bright glow. The door in the center shows an arrow pointing up emitting an intense red glow.
“You should probably wear it, Viridi, I’m fine in leather,” Rácz says, checking the size and material of the chain shirt, and holds it to Viridi, “you are our only healer, we don’t want you to go down.”
"I think that the war pick should go to Rácz for this next room," Arona muses, "He had a powerful spell that he could cast from it and we might be able to take out whatever is in that room in one strike." As she says this she moves towards the room with the red arrow and cocks her head questioningly at the rest of the group but making it known which way she wants to go.

You enter through the middle door to find the same sort of room on the other side. The first thing you see are two snarling beasts, wolf-like but bigger and more muscular, side by side in the middle of the room. Behind them you see two goblins wielding scimitars, and further back are two more goblins wielding shortbows. The goblins in the back nock arrows, the other goblins draw their swords, and the worgs crouch down preparing to pounce.
One of you get to act first, then one of the sets of enemies will take their turns.
