Arona wakes up with a jolt and finds herself face to face with the nasty thing that snuck up on her. Turning to it with a peaceful smile on her face, she picks up her spear and jabs forward following up with two punches in quick succession while mumbling under her breath, "Not sure why people starting making rugs that can attack you... but I guess the world will never cease to surprise me."
As Scal revives Rácz, Arona tears into the rug with a series of attacks. The rug is now looking tattered in places, but it's still together enough to once again attempt to smother Arona.
Back on his feet again, Rácz pulls up his sling to aim at the rug, chest rising and falling sharply due to anger and pain, determined to shoot it down.
After an item is selected two doors appear, one at the southern end of the hallway and one near it on the eastern wall.

The door at the end of the hall has an image of a gold coin that has a steady, faint glow to it. The door on the eastern wall has an image of a sword that isn't glowing at all.
Arona grabs the luck blade and tosses it to Scal. "In case something manages to get close to you... You'll also be the best at keeping the focus on any spell that we cast out of it."
She then walks towards the door with the sword and swings it open for the rest of the group.

Scal fumbles catching the rapier a little bit before he finally grabs the hilt and then places it into his belt, prepared to use it to save the lives of his friends.
You enter through the door to find a dark staircase leading down. Following it down you eventually come to what looks like a study, with a large desk hugging the north wall flanked by bookcases as well as an armchair in one corner facing a fireplace. You don't see any adversaries at first but then you watch as one giant rat emerges from beneath the desk, and immediately you see dozens of much smaller rats crawl out from behind the bookcases, under the chair, out of the (unlit) fireplace, and out of cracks in the walls and floorboards. These smaller rats coalesce into two distinct swarms, one near the chair and one near the opposite corner of the room.
Arona lets out a battle cry as she fearlessly charges forward and jabs her spear into the giant rat before spinning around into a roundhouse kick aimed at its head.
Arona charges forward and thrusts her spear into the large rat, but her kick misses the beast. It's struggling to stay conscious, but it manages to attempt a bite attack against Arona.
The giant rat manages to knock Arona unconscious with a bite just before being taken out itself by Viridi's magic stone.
(We said the starry form is gone after the last encounter, let me know if there's something else you'd like to do with your bonus action.)
One of the swarms of rats skitters over to Rácz and the rats begin trying to crawl up his legs and nibble on any exposed parts of his body they can find.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Scal's fire bolt scorches a chunk of the rats in the further swarm, leaving less than a dozen rats left in that one. The remaining members of that swarm move forward and start crawling on Arona's unconscious body (the only person they could reach).
