Gogon hesitated a moment, then spotted the boots. "Those," he said quietly, "would be amazing!" Before realizing what he was doing, he'd ran up and snatched them from their pillar. It took a second, after gazing at the sleek footwear lovingly the entire while, but he suddenly realized what he'd done. Cheeks flushed, he offered them to Yuno. "Forgot that I, uh, can actually already fly," he explained apologetically.

She points to her belt and weapons and declines the boots. She'd rather tear things apart with a combination of her weapons and her enhanced strength rather than fly. Perhaps someone else could use the boots.

Gogon's eyes widened a bit before he smiled and gave a small nod of acknowledgement. Turning to Chan, he offered the boots, with a half-grin and a wordless plead.

Gogon hands the boots to Chan and three doors appear on the next wall.

The door on the left has a rapier that is not glowing at all, the door in the center has a suit of spiked armor that isn't glowing, and the door on the right has a faintly glowing amulet.

Yuno moves over to the armor door and shoves it open.

As Yuno shoves open the armor door and swims through it, the rest of the party is tugged in after her. Everyone inside sees that the room is empty save for a single large shark that is swimming around. Seeing the party enter the door, it turns angrily towards the group and begins to swim menacingly closer.

Chan reactivates his star shield, shots a bolt from it, and then swims up to the shark to acid shield slam it.

"No break yet?" thought the halfling as he swam toward the shark. This was getting serious; he tried to avoid thinking of it, but this might very well be where he'd die and remain forever. The biggest downside? His brother--who'd always been against his adventuring--getting to tell the rest of the family how right he was.

Gritting his teeth with determination, Gogon lashed out at the shark with spear and foot.

Yuno simply moves up and begins stabbing and bashing the shark (U12). Unlike her short, kung-fuey ally, she doesn't seem to be at wall worried about their current situation and continues to ferociously attack the Shark. Though she did wish they weren't underwater and that she could really get her swords into the enemy easier.

Sythm the giant shark swims forward to the other giant shark. There can only be one menacing giant shark in this water tank. Moving behind the other shark, he bites the creture to show whose jaws are stronger.

Move: To Q-7xS-9 (as behind as he can.)

Action: Attack: 16 Damage: 28.

Only Gogon's first spear strike manages to connect with the shark, but it strikes a large enough hole in it Yuno to capitalize and brutally cauterize the wound with three quick strikes from her radiant weapons. Meanwhile, Sythm swims quickly around to flank the beast and snaps its jaws into the other shark causing even more blood to spill out. Finally, although Chan's star bolt goes wide underwater, his shield slam sends acid spraying over the shark in all directions.

Now covered in its own blood the shark lunges out for the creature that injured it the most and strikes Yuno.

Almost taking her out of the fight in one bite, the shark clamps down onto Yuno.

The party is up again!

Even with most of her blood spilling out and in the water, Yuno still continues to stab at the shark viciously. She'd probably spout a one-liner if it wasn't for the fact that she was underwater.

Feeling ignored, Sythm-shark bites the other shark, hoping to end him quickly. Meanwhile, through their soul's connection, Sythm tries to convey to Wira that sharks like bleeding creatures, and Yuno is bleeding quite badly... hopefully Wira will understand and move the girl away from the other shark.

Action: Bite. Attack: 25 Damage: 18.
BA: CWS (if possible).

Wira, if she understands the command, will move to V-12 and use her Fiery Teleportation action to move Yuno to X-14, and herself to S-10. The shark must then succeed on a DC 15 or take 4 fire damage.

(DDB is giving me so much trouble today it's honestly irritating. Since when does adding a roll at the end of the post (because I accidentally posted without the damage roll for the teleportation) give the manipulated dice banner? Whatever, here are the rolls again...)

Bite: Attack: 28 Damage: 19.
Teleportation damage: 5.

With this last flurry of attacks by the party, the shark goes down in a squelch of blood and then disappears into dust.
