“I suppose introductions are in order.” Says the half elf. “I am Javier Boilan, leader of the Coven of Bards” The drow goes next, sighing. “I’m Valk. I lead any of you who possess many... other talents than magic.” The female tiefling goes after him, sounding exited. “I’m Hado Farville, and I’m so exited to meet you! I run the Warlock coven, and I get to have 2 of you” The drow sighs again like he’s had enough of this, while the Human clad in blue speaks. “I’m Denkirn Pellos, I got selected to lead the Wizards, guess I play into the stereotype... oh and the quiet one in green is Thrass Jugar. He can’t talk, or at least not normally. He’s a psychic, and he leads any sorcerers that may be here. As for the robes, you can have them designed specially, but their base color has to match those in your coven...”

Kane goes over and shakes Hado’s hand. “I’m very excited for this academy, Mr. Farville. You will not be disappointed with me. For my robes, I was thinking a crimson overcoat with a black trim and a demon’s face styled on the back. As for my powers,” he says as he ignites his hand, causing it to flame, “let’s say flame is my game. Question: do we have roommates or our separate rooms and what exactly are we leading at this Academy?”
“Okay, fine...” Kane says with an annoyed sigh. “Grizzle, is it okay if I ask you about “Big Magic” or is that too sensitive? I’m just trying to figures out your coven leader.”
Seiren can be seen mouthing Javier’s name to herself as if to commit it to memory then the other coven leaders’ names as well. She touches the point of one of her ears before nodding to herself, dropping her hand, then shuffling forward to offer her hand to Javier. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, um, sir. My name is Seiren— I suppose you already knew that.”
Kane starts to raise his hand as of to slap Grizzle but stops midway. He turns around so Grizzle can’t see him and he tells himself, “Calm down Kane, calm down. We don’t need another incident like the one in Drakkenheim. Remember, you are the intellectual of this conversation.” He turns back around to Grizzle. “Grizzle, were you born with Big Magic? If so, you would classify as a Sorcerer and you would be under Mr. Jugar, the physic.”
"Nope! Grizzle was born just a little goblin, but very handsome. Yep! Everyone says how handsome Grizzle was, even before the Big Magic!", he runs a hand along his bald pate and snarled grey locks.
"Umm... oh, Big Magic. Grizzle just walking, collecting beetles, when*SKPOO!!!BZIP! WHEEE!* The Big Magic chooses Grizzle!", he punctuates his sound effects with burst of multicolored sparks and disembodied whistling screams.
"Maybe thinks he is handsome, but could be handsomer, so makes him biggest, bluest goblin, and lots of magic, so everyone knows how great Grizzle is! Lots and lots of magic, more than Grizzle can hold, so it goes everywhere! Big Magic all around, swirling, swirling, swirling.... DARK.", he runs circles around Kane before throwing himself dramatically to the ground and thrashing about, then going limp and not breathing.
After a few moments he pops back to his feet and bows. "Then Grizzle has Big Magic! So maybe Grizzle is Wardock, like Kane? Maybe Kane and Grizzle roomies?"
Seiren watches all of this with the wide eyes of a child who, undoubtedly, would chalk this up as the strangest man she's ever met. Which is fine. She blinks. "Well, Grizzle, you aren't a bard or a wizard, that's for sure."
“Okay. It’s obvious that you need some education. I’m only going to say it once so listen carefully, Grizzle.” ”Wizards get their magic from books”, as he shows his Tome to Grizzle. “Warlocks, like me, made a deal with someone for their magic. A contract.” Kane makes the motion of two people shaking hands. *I know this is not true for all warlocks, but Kane it is.* “Sorcerers are born with their magic”
“So if you didn’t make a deal, we’re not born with it, and I very much doubt you can read, you are in a class all your own, Grizzle.”
As Kane speaks, Seiren's brow furrows a bit, but she lets him finish before interjecting. "Please don't speak down to him," she says to Kane, "Or anyone else like that, much less assume if they can or can't read. Perhaps that's something sensitive you shouldn't let leave your thoughts." She arches an eyebrow then nods at Grizzle. "Grizzle might or might not be aware of the distinctions between how different people get their magic, but that's why we're students here. To learn. And not all sorcerers are born with their magic, I believe. Sometimes, certain environments can... make strange things happen to people."
Kane opens his mouth to say something but then stops, not knowing what to say. Finally, he says, “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have assumed about your ability to read, Grizzle. And I should have talked down to you.” he says, defeated. He goes over to a rock and sits on it. He pulls out his book and begins practicing a few simple spells.
“Okay. It’s obvious that you need some education. I’m only going to say it once so listen carefully, Grizzle.”
Grizzle wiggles his ears in Kane's direction.
”Wizards get their magic from books”, as he shows his Tome to Grizzle.
Grizzle sticks out his tongue to show what he thinks of books. "So Kane is wizard?"

"Kane is not wizard, but has book?" Grizzle tries to shake his own hands and ends up with one arm behind his head.
“So if you didn’t make a deal, we’re not born with it, and I very much doubt you can read, you are in a class all your own, Grizzle.”
"Haha! Yes! Grizzle is amazing! Glad Kane can see too."
Grizzle half listens to Seiren, "Alright for Kane to talk down to Grizzle, Kane is taller... for now.", he ends, a bit ominiously.
"Grizzle make strange things happen to people! Sometimes to Grizzle. Grizzle's turned his arm into a snake, and it ran away! But arm grew back... just fleshy again, not nice metal arm." , he waggles a hand, looking at Seiren's a bit wistfully.
"It's alright. Kane assed the right ume, Grizzle doesn't read. Maybe did once, but forgot... or never did, but remembers wrong? Grizzle not need reading now, paper good for wiping, but will respect personal boundaries and not use Kane's book without permission."
"While other magic users can carry around books, we wizards are the primary ones that use them." Ezri scratches her jaw, in thought. "We... write books, and the more we write, the more spells we know, and can use. So our books are special to us. Since we're... not as bright as you, being able to do it all on your own. So if you have to do anything with books here, use them as a pillow, and not a wipe."

Grizzle considers Ezri's words, grinning wide with a moment of inspiration. "Yes, you can't help it that you need books to do magic. Grizzle will only use leaves, books probably make hard pillow, so if finds any books, will give them to Ezri Wizard, or Kane Warlock so you can get good like Grizzle!"
As an aside to Seiren, "What means people skills?"

"N--..." Grizzle starts, then squints at Kane suspiciously.
"Maybe that is sensitive, and Kane rude not to ask Grizzle if it is alright that he can ask about Big Magic.", he finishes triumphantly.
