"Oooo! Teleporting!? Grizzle teleported once. Took a week to walk home, but nothing was the same as when Grizzle left, none of the goblins knew who Grizzle was, and someone had moved into Grizzle's hut, and moved it from away from the waterfall, and changed all the stuff inside it..."
He scratches his head as he ponders the mystery...

With a brutal shove of Grizzle by Valk, who did not enjoy being sniffed, the teleportation circle lit up, and a brilliant display of green and blue appear before you as you’re sent off to the middle of the forest. Everyone feels dizzy from the violent motion. The entire area is covered in trees, each unique and seemingly magical. It seems your 8 hours of rest have begun. The area around you is covered in dim light, and ambient noises are heard.

“Woah! What a rush! I don’t remember them being that disorientating.” Kane says, with his hand on his head. “I’m going to need a minute. I’ll be right back.” Kane walks away from the group into a secluded part of the forest.
"Ugh..." Ezri rubs her temples after they finish the teleportation. "That never gets any more pleasant, does it?"
She walks around the area, waving a hand a mumbling as she casts Detect Magic, to see what type of magic was on the trees. "It will be safe to assume that there will be things out here that will try and stop us. Does anyone have a familiar that they've been hiding? Or some sort of enchantment or divination spell that might help us understand what might be out there?"

"I know the Alarm spell, if you think that might help while we rest. And... if you must know, I don't have a familiar yet, though I do know that spell too."
Seiren shakes her head as her dizziness wears off. She briefly has a look on her face that says she almost considered panicking, but it quickly disappears once she picks up on a spot in the conversation to jump in. "Wish I had a familiar, but unfortunately, no, but Alarm would help greatly. Do we want to arrange some sort of watch just in case? Two of us on watch for a shift while the other four sleep and then rotate out until everyone's had rest? Never too safe than sorry." That's not the exact idiom. She doesn't seem to notice.
The trees seem to have the very magic of mother Earth flowing through them. They are protected from major harm, and seem to have some deeply hidden healing abilities.

"It pays to be careful." Ezri says over her shoulder, as she stops in front of one of the trees.
She clicks her tongue. "Shame we don't have a druid." The wizard reaches out to touch the tree, to see what happens. The best way to figure things out is to start with tests.

You feel magical energy coursing through you. But it isn’t entering via the trees. It’s your own magical talent that’s swarming within you from your head, and you feel so relaxed that you didn’t notice that you fell to the ground, in some sort of light trance.

Seiren blinks as Ezri touches the tree then apparently just falls asleep. "Well, then," she huffs, "There's an answer." She glances at the others. "Anyone else want to do that next?" A smile quirks at the corner of her lips. "Grizzle?"
Kane comes back from clearing his head. “Sorry guys that took so long. But I feel better now.” He sees Ezri collapsed in the ground. “Ezri!” He runs over to check her pulse. “Okay. She’s not dead.” He looks at Grizzle and Seiren, “What happened?”
Grizzle doesn’t fall asleep. Instead, as he has an overflow of magic, it bursts from his body. Roll on the table.

Ezri blinks as she comes back around. She checks her neck, but upon finding it normal, picks herself up and dusts off her skirt. "That was... exhilarating. Calming, even. The magic infused within the forest is simply fascinating. That healing potential... perhaps it stimulates the magic within to cause an effect! My first theory was it to keep the trees healthy, but this is far more interesting! When we finish this, I'll - oh, where did Grizzle go?"

"Hey! Don't be so frowny, Mister Scowly-face!"
Grizzle flicks his wand at Valk as they depart. ((DC 10 CHA Save.))
Arriving dizzy and having just been shoved, Grizzle's cheeks puff out and he makes some unpleasantly wet sounds, before swallowing.
