Seiren makes an uncertain face. "People skills are, um, saying appropriate things at appropriate times. Manners are the basic ones. Sensitive things, such as..." She waves her hand, trying to come up with examples. "Me not asking you why you're blue, you not asking me why I have prosthetic — not fleshy — limbs. Um, interacting with people is... layered. Certain things you may say don't sound inappropriate to you, might to me, and the opposite could be the same. Talking to each other, finding out what's okay to say and what's not okay is the first part in building relationships, connections with others."
In grizzles mind, he hears a voice talking to him.“So you have ‘Big Magic’ like me. How does ‘Big Magic’ work?”Looking at him from a distance away is the green clad human.

"Oh..." Grizzle scrunches up his face. "What Kane was trying to tell Grizzle before, but Kane isn't good at it either. Grizzle is blue because he's awesome! Grizzle thinks metal arms sound pretty great too. Probably good for cracking nuts! Nuts make Grizzle fingers tired, so try use Big Magic and just explode nut. With ma-mners, Grizzle can try, but maybe have to let know if being bad at people skills? Like jump up and down patting head, and Grizzle will know to use more better mamners."
He demonstrates.
While talking to Seiren, Grizzle hears another voice, and turns around in a circle before talking aloud, seemingly to no one. "Grizzle doesn't know how Big Magic works, it just does! Grizzle thinks of something fun, like making boy and dog real big, and then the Big Magic makes it happen! Grizzle better at somethings..."
He starts counting off on his fingers the things he's good at, "...make big, make small, make buddy, make safe, make 'splode, make cold, make bugs, make fire, make fire dance, make clean, make dirty, make sparks, make sound, make warm, make things, make smell, make taste... umm... and Big Magic make other things happen too, when there's too much awesome, then make other things."

After Grizzle's done listing off his wonderful list of magic, which makes her smile a tiny bit amusedly, Seiren glances at Thrass, who's looking at Grizzle, and thinks about what Denkirn had said about Thrass being psychic. She gently rotates Grizzle around to face Thrass and nods. "I believe Thrass is the one... speaking to you? In here, right?" She taps her temple.
"Ms. Farville, thank you for our introduction. I have here..." Enoch rummages about beneath his formal coat, withdrawing a letter with a black wax seal, "A letter for you. I trust it will provide some useful information from, if my research was accurate, a former colleague." He hands the letter over. Enoch grins. "I'm very excited to be working under you. Not many warlocks in recorded history have ever reconstituted a Pact. Or, was that Haedo Fervanne of Greyhawk? Forgive me if I have misattributed such a worthy accomplishment."
Having overheard all that has been said and seen a fight nearly unfold Zira steps closer to Grizzle and the others giving Kane a pointedly cocked eyebrow.
"I'd like someone to teach me more magic. I found this book," Zira begins taking out the large battered looking tome from her bag and holding it up, "in the ruins by my home in Luskan. I can do a few spells having practiced them but most are beyond me," she adds with a curt nod. "As for friends let's agree to work together. Kindness is a choice not an option," she adds looking hard at Kane. "Griz let's hope we're all as happy with our gifts as you," she adds standing beside him now as well as Seiren she looks at the bard.
Seiren and DM only:
"Let's keep an eye on that one. Seems he'd stick a knife in your back if he gained him anything," Zira whispers gesturing her head towards Kane but casting message at Seiren.
“But no living man am I! You look upon a woman...You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King
“Well, Zira, if you need any help with spells I would be happy to offer any assistance.” Kane tells Zira. In his head he is thinking, “She gave me a weird look when she was talking about kindness. I can’t have them suspecting anything. Got to play it safe. Got to play nice.”
"I'd appreciate any insight any of you have," Zira nods. "I'm not really sure where I belong considering my limited experience of magic so far," she adds looking at the teachers.

“The drow, Valk, said he teaches people with other skills besides magic. Given your...” Kane, remembering earlier, tries to think of a nice way to say it, “other skills... I would guess you would be under him.” He says with uncertainty in his voice, not knowing how you would respond.
The half elf announces to the group as they mingle about in waiting. “Your second test is now. As your luggage has been whisked away, you will have to complete this with your abilities alone. In 2 minutes you will be transported to the center of the forest. You will have 8 hours of rest, and then be given 48 hours to find us. Your questions will be answered at the academy. Good luck, and we’ll be seeing you shortly.”
The psychic looks at the Tiefling, who, now looking defeated, reluctantly begins drawing a teleportation circle around the class with the Wizard.

“So, we’ll be transported into the middle of the forest and we have to find you in forty eight hours? Hmm” Kane seems to think about this. “Zira, I assume you’ve had to find people before. You would probably be best to lead this one. My spells are mainly damage based.” He looks at the rest of the group, “Not saying any of you are less qualified.”
"It'd be best to formulate a plan once we're aware of what our surroundings will be like. And when we're away from the people we will be seeking." She cants her head towards their guides.

Things, however...well I have a knack for finding things," Zira replies grinning then shrugging her shoulders. "Wait do they mean like we're alone...alone? As in not a group," the half-orc/elf asks looking around slightly panicked!

Seiren tenses a moment at receiving Zira’s message but nods, responding in kind, “Perhaps. Only time will tell, but I don’t seem to think he likes wacky, wild Grizzle all too much. He’s entitled to not like whoever he wants, but some measure of cooperation is required as fellow students.”
As Hado and Denkirn begin drawing a teleportation circle around them, Seiren scratches her nose. “Well, unless teleportation circles started working differently than last I checked, everyone within a circle appears at another circle together, yes?”
Kane steps into the circle and says to Seiren. “I believe that’s how teleportation circles work. But there have been freak accidents. However, these coven leaders are professionals, so there should be nothing to fear.”
