“Mmm...hmm...definitely....” Archibald absently responds as he thumbs through the erotic poetry book. “Oh my! Speaking of trap doors! Here is a haiku about a young lover’s ...oh...um...nevermind.”, as he places the book back in his pouch, blushing.
'Wilmot, Zemya, you look a little pale - lay down for a minute, take a breather. We need you at full mast when we push on.'
Gracy continues to prowl the large room like a catamount, restless and eager for action but cagey enough to know when to take a moment to gather strength before the final push.
Wilmot lets out an audible sigh of relief, plopping his large frame down on the floor and leaning up against a wall. "Don't mind if I do," Wilmot says as he begins quickly, but methodically rooting through his pouch and produces another bag of herb. Spending a few minutes to roll up a smoke, he lights and lays his head back against the wall with his eyes closed, letting smoke rings drift to the ceiling. The only movement for a bit of time is the occasional raising of his hand to his face to take another toke, followed by the exhale of smoke.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Archibald sits down and takes out the naval book and tries to slip the erotic poetry book into it, acting like he is learning about the high seas as he takes a short rest.
Gracy's patience lasts only so long before the need to keep moving overtakes him. 'Hiramat, jam that door up to the caverns. Let's make sure anyone coming through has to make a racket if they come out of those caverns and back up this way.'
Pulling ut his short bow once more, he knocks another grey fletched arrow 'Klaus, I'll take point if you'll stay close behind in case trouble breaks out. Zemya, can you and Hiramat handle our back trail?'
Seeing no objections from the rest of the party, the rogue leads the way back up the stairs and back into the large Western room (area 4), checking to see if his make shift alarm has been disturbed at all. Pausing at the top of the stairs, he listens for any signs of movement or new tracks.
With a pointed look at Archibald, Zmeya kicks off the ground with her staff and calmly nods to Gracy. Zmeya performs a cursory glance at the rooms they have cleared and the passageway beyond, wary that the time they spent may have allowed a trap to be concocted.
Zmeya pauses as she exits the trapdoor, forked tongue flicking in and out. "I don't sense anyone on this floor. Let's make quick work of it and progress onwards."
With no objections, she will resume her customary inspections and perceptions with Gracy of rooms 5 and 6.
“ I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like there’s not much going on on this floor. Shall we maybe head upstairs?“ Archibald says as he starts heading toward the staircase. “ I mean those skeletons had to be the worst thing in this house right?“. He starts to ascend the stairs listening as he goes.
The only thing of note in the room is a clump of tiny red mushrooms growing around a fireplace in a semicircular formation. Otherwise, the room is bare.
AREA 6 - LIVING AREA
Aside from a large amount of plaster that has fallen from the ceiling, this room is bare.
Wilmot reluctantly follows the others after finishing his rest. The mushrooms catch his interest and he moves to inspect them closer. "Hey Archie, you ever try 'shrooms?"

Zmeya is interested at the sight of the mushrooms. "Oh! We ate these all the time on voyages in the wilderness," she rasps as she pops one in her mouth, jaw unhinging abnormally wide. "Shall we carry on?"
If nobody objects, she will move to inspect areas 7 and 8.

You get the feeling that there is no one on this floor - like it's a front for something much more sinister down below.

Gracy clasps Archie on the shoulder as he heads up the stairs, 'Don't wander off too far' he whispers in his ear as they ascend the stairs.
Klaus nods and falls in behind Gracy.
“Yes, goblins are better fodder for my badge of office”, he says, readying his sword.
Archibald falls behind Gracy’s lead and Klaus’ sword keeping his ears open (hopefully getting up keep using that 19 perception roll from easier).
Klaus tries to keep alert:
