Archibald probably notices our possibly hears in Draconic mixed feeling from the crowd.
He slowly rises and says In draconic, with a smile “My apologies. What my friend meant to say is we’d like to offer our services to join you in ridding the land of the sahuagin.”
It started off great, waned a little bit when Achibald piped in, but overall, a decent, honorable conversation with the commoners has been had. You have earned their trust! Looks like it's time to report to the Queen and give one last speech.
This is it. Time for the winning pitch. Lets get a quick post of everyone meeting back up again, and i'll have you guys address the Queen. And yes. The children come with.
Wilmot strikes his flint, lighting his pipe. He listens as the others prep their diplomatic plans, adding that he’d be happy to provide guidance when needed.

Fresh off his success with the help of Gracy and Wilmot, Klaus beams at Archibald, Hiramat, and Zmeya. “When Gracy and Wilmot are on hand to keep me from wearing my arse as a hat, we can get some diplomacy accomplished. We have recruited some lizard folk and locathah. How did you fare?”
"Oh ho, we faired well indeed, the lizardfolk commoners and their shamen have fully endorsed our endeavors against the saughin. I think we might have the support we need to get the Queens blessing"
Gracy smiles at Klaus' rekindled confidence and enthusiasm. 'Yes, I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances here to keep war from the shores of Saltmarsh and help our new found friends here fend off an assault from these SeaDevils.'
Looking about the group he makes a quick assessment 'I'm happy to translate into the local dialect of Draconic, it might help us smooth out any rough edges in our conversation with the Queen. I find they use Common as a blunt instrument, a tool to be used roughly and then pushed aside. There's not much more nuance in their native tongue, but I'll squeeze out whatever I can find.'
An embarrassed look, and an uncharacteristic hesitation, then 'I shouldn't lead this conversation though. People find me, well, off-putting somehow. I always seem to put them ill-at-ease when I want to calm them or set them to fits of laughter when I want to scare them.'
Wilmot smiles, patting Gracy on the shoulder. "Don't be ashamed about that. More often than not, my demeanor also tends to rile folks," he says, letting a large plume of smoke waft into the air. "I learned a long time ago not to worry about what others think. And, to be honest, I think I might be a bit too thick in the head to care. That said, we need this lot to dance to our song so it's probably best that someone with the proper tone sing it." He turns to the others. "Who shall that be? I'll offer you the guidance of the Dweller on the Horizon before you do. I think we need all the help we can get."
Wilmot casts guidance on whomever steps up to be the sacrificial cow spokesperson for the party.

"I feel like I had a certain connection with her highness earlier. I'd be more than happy to talk to her, with you guys backing me up and big Willy's guidance of course."
Zmeya approaches, one lizardfolk child swung across her shoulders, the other engaged in a mock boxing match with one of Zmeya's arms. She isn't even looking, using her Monk skills and senses to instruct it in some shadow boxing, but the little lizardfolk is having a blast regardless. "I agree. However Archibald managed to learn my native tongue, he certainly has a mastery over it," Zmeya rasps. "I can similarly act as a translator. Reptile to reptile, or so you know, but I believe captain Archie should be the one to make the call."
Archibald proceeds back to the Queen's throne room. After being allowed entrance he approaches the Queen and goes down to one knee. Without lookin up to meet her gaze he begins, "Your Highness, we have returned from your task. May I have a few minutes to share with you the good news?"

“Queen Othekent, it has been an honor to be allowed into you kingdom and meet your people. It has been as enlightening as it has humbling. The power, grace, and spirituality we have witnessed is inspiring. We have had the pleasure of speaking with the Sauriv, Commonfolk, Lizardfolk, Shamans, Locathah, and Merfolk. All save one, the Merfolk, have agreed to band together. I’m sure once the Merfolk see the union of forces they will join the cause. But while each group has their own individual strengths, they need to be unified by a cohesive element. A strong leader. One with wisdom and vision. One such as yourself. What say you most high queen. Will you join these people together and defeat your common enemy?”
You have successfully won over enough representatives that relations with the lizardfolk become amicable and an alliance can be formalized. Queen Othokent reconsiders her previous assumption regarding the inability of the humans to render worthwhile assistance. Over the course of a few hours, an alliance with Saltmarsh is agreed to, which you all can report to the town council now. The lizardfolk dispatch two Common-speaking scaleshield officers named Garurt and Vyth to Saltmarsh to accompany you as ambassadors.
The lizardfolk children's eyes become comically big and begin to water heavily knowing that soon you will be departing.
You are well received by the council, and the alliance is quickly agreed to when the council members learn of the situation regarding the sahuagin.
You all can take a moment and say your goodbyes to the lizardfolk, but officially, you have WON and the campaign has ended!

Woot! Nicely done people!
Really enjoyed this campaign with you all - and appreciated getting to play a less 'active' character with Gracy's Mastermind.
Looking forward to running into you all somewhere else again
The Mastermind made it happen. To paraphrase that old BASF commercial: “Mastermind doesn’t make the Paladin’s attack roll, he makes it BETTER”.
