Inside the tent you see a small circle in the centre with tha wooden platform that rises about one foot above the ground.
Circling that are raised bleachers, about 12 rows in all, making their way in two half circles around the tent. There is a gap at the entrance you came in so that the performers can access the central ring.
Directly across from you is a raised dias. On the platform you can see a young dwarven woman dressed in fine robes with long, braided hair. She's leaned over talking to what seem to be a couple of noblemen to the left of the platform. Around her are four guards who seem to be on high alert and you surmise that there's no way you're getting close to her.
Your friends don't seem to have entered the tent yet but you do see a human matching the description you were given of the Count, sitting to the right of the platform, he doesn't seem to have anyone with him except the large black bird on his right shoulder.

Edgar will make his way over the him and sit down somewhere behind him where he can eavesdrop and potentially pickpocket him if he has anything that caches Edgars fancy.
Fenro hands over 2 coppers, his shortbow and quarterstaff. After taking a ticket he makes his way into the tent and sees the circular layout of the seating. The performance area is clearly the slightly raised platform in the middle. Being a circle, either the performer will have to turn constantly to include the whole audience, or there was some other key as to what was the true front of the stage. Fenro looked around the room and very quickly noticed the raised dais. Sitting on the dais was a dwarven lady who clearly was some form of royalty, or leader. The bards would truly be performing to her. If he wanted the best view, Fenro realised he should sit close to her. However, sitting to the side of the dais was a man with a clearly recognizable scar. This must be the man Lyrika was talking about.
Being this close to the count may not end well for Lyrika. Fenro wasn't sure yet about these people, but he knew that he didn't want them to come to harm while trying to release people imprisoned for some simple gluttony. Moving through the seats, Fenro tries to find a seat in the back row about 5 - 10 people away from the count. Nearby, Fenro sees Edgar. He was clearly trying to get close to the count. Hopefully he could do so without drawing too much attention.
Upon taking his cast detect magic as subtly as he can, trying not to attract anyone's attention.
He doesn't react to your presence at all but the bird does turn and watch you a bit. You can see that he's wearing ornate robes of a crisp white colour. On his hip there's a beautiful leather bound book. He has a couple of fancy rings on his hand and there's a large pouch on the hip opposite the book.

Something about that bird doesn't seem natural.Fenro takes a closer look at the bird to see if he recognizes it then sits back to watch the show. As he does so he makes sure that he can see the count at all times.
You're keen connection with nature allows you to make an important distinction, this creature is natural, but not to this plane. You can't tell what it's natural plane is but you know that it was likely brought here by some sort of magic.

Aramae takes a seat next to Fenro, looking out upon the stage area but keeping his ears focused towards the count.
His heart was beating rapidly, both in nervousness from the subterfuge Edgar is attempting and anticipation from witnessing expertly delivered performances from talented bards, most notably Lyrika.
He silently thanks Tisus for the opportunity to experience all he has so far this day.
"This looks like as good a spot as any," Fenro says to Aramae as he sits down."We should be able to get a good view of the action from here."As he is talking Fenro feels a familiar sensation. An indication that his illusion is wearing off. "Don't be scared,"he says to the tabaxi, "but I might start to look a little different." As he says this the illusion fades, revealing the imposing figure of the Firbolg in place of the mild young human.
"What exactly should I be scared of? Your fur? I have my own, you know? Or did you mean magic? I am no stranger to things arcane as well. At any rate, I agree this is an adequate spot. Hopefully Edgar can pick up some valuable information."
Edgar notices the bird* watching him and he gets a fabulous idea and start to whisper profanities to it, hoping to teach it a word of two. All while listening to what the count might have to say.
Does the rings stick out in any way? What do they look like?
The bird is not a parrot. It's large and black with a hooked beak. Probably some sort of falcon. The Count isn't speaking currently and you're the only person really near him right now.
The rings look quite nice. There are two on his left hand and one on his right. The one on his right is gold and carries a large ruby in it. On his left index finger he carries what appears to be a signet ring emblazoned with a black eagle similar to the one on his shoulder. On his ring finger he has a simple golden band.

A small gnome in brass armor walks over to the centre if the ring. "Welcome one and all, young and old, to our bardic competition. We have a fine show for you tonight with competitors from all across the Kingdoms. Now, I've never been one for preamble so let's bring out our first competitor, Daniel Bowman from Schirit!" A human moves away from the group near Lyrika and pulls out a violin. He begins to play.
