Fenro, you don't see anyone in the brass armor of the guards and the only person in official garb is an elf, though he's dressed like an official from Tulcanis. It seems that most people at the inn are travellers rather than locals. As you're finishing your breakfast you do see someone familiar walk in though, Rollo. He's not in his armor but you recognize him all the same.
Edgar, you follow along the roofs for a while until you see the dwarf stop and begin unpacking a stand along the side of one of the streets. He pulls out strange pieces, mostly looking like antiquities or nicknacks. He places a small open sign out front and then a larger sign on top of the stand, Bogdan's Curiosities. (Also, please make a stealth check for your pursuit)

If eye contact is made between Aramae and any if the elves at the table, Aramae will smile and wave and look for hints of recognition in their eyes as surely they are at least aware of rare Tabaxi living in their country.
Oryxis gets up just after dawn, well rested. He grabs a bowl of hot porridge and heads out of the place as soon as he can, intent on getting the answers he was looking for right away. With that in mind, he made for the gates, in the hopes of finding guards there that might direct him to the guard barracks to be able to speak with a captain.

Aramae, you catch the eye of one of the man's elven companions and he give you a slight nod of acknowledgement. He says something to the man who turns and gives you a small wave as well before returning to whatever he was talking about before.
Edgar, you make your way down to the street seemingly unseen and then over to the cart. On it you can see a number of strange knives, dolls, and other items that don't seem to have a connected origin of any kind. The man looks you over a bit before answering. "Yes. Not the sort of beginning to a festival anyone wants. Likely means the whole thing is over I imagine. Darn shame."
Oryxis, you find the guards at the gate seemingly a bit reluctant to help you but eventually they direct you back to the keep, saying that any officers are there.

'Please pardon the interruption. I merely wished to offer my aid with current goings-on. You likely already know this, but my name is Aramae. You may reply through this spell if you like.'
As Fenro surveys the room one of the faces catches his attention. Although it had only been in passing the guard at the gate when he arrived was familiar. At the time he had done his best to avoid him, but now it was probably appropriate to go and speak to him. Confidently, Fenro got up and walked across to the table where the guard (Rollo) sat, found an empty seat and settled in."Excuse me. You look like someone familiar with the area. I was at one of the temples yesterday and they mentioned a festival. Do you know if that is still going ahead? What with all the commotion last night."
Aramae, the official jumps a bit and then looks over to you. He motions for you to come over to his table.
Fenro, the guard looks up at you. "You can drop the act big man. I may have met you at the gate but I was also at the Keep last night. I know what you did. Thank you for saving my cousin."

Aramae quickly approaches and takes a seat if there is one. Otherwise just standing nearby.
"I apologise for startling you. I didn't want to interrupt your conversations here, but I wanted to offer my help while I could."
If he's sitting close enough, Aramae will offer his hand to the man to shake if he wants. He will keep his hands clasped on top of the table otherwise.
"Alright, alright. Still, the question was real. Do you know if the festival is going ahead? I had hoped to catch one of the visiting priest if I had the chance."
"The festival won't be going forward. As for the priests, most of them have turned back when they found the city closed. Who are you looking for?"
Aramae, the elf gives your hand a firm shake. "Ambassador Mikalic Terevan, at your service. And who might you be who is offering their help. Forgive me, I know there aren't many tabaxi in our lands but I have been away for a while and don't know many names anymore."

"Good to meet you, Ambassador Terevan. My name is Aramae. To my knowledge, there are only 3 other Tabaxi other than myself in all of Talia. I am sure you have to have heard at least whispers of 'cat people lost at sea' or some such. Tulcanis was not only kind enough to rescue my family but allowed us to live and work in your lands as citizens. We could never repay such a debt, but I felt I owed it to myself to at least offer to help. Though I admit, my talents currently are few. You had experienced one of them. Again, I apologise for that."
"It probably does, unless the prepetrators are caught. A real shame.. A festival like that brings on all kinds of opportunity and fun games. My friend was a top contender for the bard competition you know." He picks up one of the strange knives and twirl it in his hand, checking the balance.
(Are all the knives the same or are there just a wide assortment of different ones?)
(No two are the same. Some look more ceremonial, others more useful. The one you grabbed is made mostly of bone, likely purely for some sort of ceremony or decoration, terrible balance. The tattoo peaks put from hiding every now and then dependingon how he moves but is mostly covered.)
"Is that right? Poor luck for them then. Trust people to ruin a good bit of music. Darn shame."
Aramae, the Ambassador nods to you. "Only three? I thought there were more in the capital? Well, who knows. As I said, I've been away. So what kind of help would you like to offer? I'll admit, we don't have too much need for the arcane here and now though if you would like I'm sure that someone at one of the Arcane Schools back in Tulcanis would be able to use someone with talents."

"Well, I did say, 'to my knowledge'. Anyway, yes, my talents are mainly arcane, and thank you for informing me of the schools back in Tulcanis. However I also have a certain way with words, able to spin yarns and tall tales, all without magic, mind you. If nothing else, I could simply be an informant. I will be on the road a lot, naturally. I would just need to know how to reach you and/or another you trust with sensitive information. The small demonstration of my talents I had given you does not work across large distances, I am afraid."
Oryxis thanks the guards, before making his way to the keep. He didn't have a particularly good feeling about this thing, as there was a further piece of circumstantial evidence pointing to the Æthling... He just hoped he'd get some answers that could propel them forwards.
