Edgar relaxes ”What time is it? I’m starving!” Once Edgar has found some dried meat, bread and water he sit down beside Ara again. ”Mind filling me in to what has been going on lately? I remember that we sat out on this journey, then there was a snake. And where are all the women? There was alot of women in swimwear and coconut drinks! Or was that a dream?” He looks around a little confused for the beautiful women he had apparently dreamt of.
Aramae begins to laugh heartily, both amused by Edgar's words and elated to see him well once more.
"Ah Edgar, I am afraid the only woman in the vicinity is Lyrika, and I do not think she has changed into swimwear attire, nor does she have coconuts on her person. At least as far as I am aware. There was a snake, which was quickly disposed of by our burly friend Oryxis. Lovely day besides. Barring any more interruptions, perhaps you can regale us with your tale, as I have with mine. But yours simply has to be more fascinating than mine."
Oryxis turns to Edgar and offers him several bites of charred snake meat that the leonin is keeping in a small pouch as a travel ration. "It's good for you, mostly muscle on a snake. Very lean."
You can sense that he struggles with the relaxed atmosphere, generally not being someone who would ever let their guard down. Talking, even tursely, about food, is an attempt at focusing his mind on something other than fighting or his own destiny.

Aramae brings his hand through the tuft of fur on his chin in thought after witnessing Oryxis struggle to maintain his composure.
"Hmmm... Oryxis, perhaps when we make camp during the night, we can arrange some sort of spar, with safety in mind of course. I can tell that you need to keep yourself active and alert with physical activity. Myself and Edgar are similar, in a way. We too build reserves of energy we need to exert, though it need not be through battle, at least in my case. I am sure we can think of something to your liking."
You all travel on, the northward road and the land around you slowly getting flatter and more open as you go. As nightfall approaches the dragonborn pull over to the side of the road in an open field and begin setting up their tents. You all get the sense that while you're traveling with them, you are not traveling together and you set up camp beside them rather than as part of the group.

Aramae aids in setting up their own camp. If Lyrika decides to provide a tune, Aramae will use Prestidigitation to make a simple light show to accompany her music.
Fenro helps set up the camp, looking for wood nearby to start a small fire, enough to cook over and provide a little warmth. He then sets up his bedroll near the fire. “I am happy to take the first watch,” He says to the others. “Who am I waking up to take the central stretch?”
Once camp is set and a fire is made Edgar starts his story. “My story takes us out of Talia, to a place called ‘The sea of grass’ in your tongue.” He looks around the fire at each of all of you to make sure he has your attention. “It is the homeland of all cat-people. It consist of a lot of small tribes who care for them self. Most work as a large family where everyone contribute to keep the tribe well and safe. Some are guards and others are farmers, some are hunters, storytellers and bounty hunters. The guards keep the tribe safe, the farmers and hunters keep the tribe fed and so on.”
“my father was a trader. He travelled to other tribes to sell items and information, and sometime he would bring me and my siblings on his journey. It was at one of these journeys that I heard the story i have told you about which has led me on my quest. I started to look for clues to what the old man had told me, but I couldn't find any. Through my searching I discovered that I had a knack for finding things out and that how I became an bounty hunter. Sometimes I catch bad guys my what I really like to do is to look for treasure, and Im always looking for clues to that story about the Chandrian. When I found out where the fortress of Talgilak was I decided to go look for it, and that is when I met Aramae. And after meeting Lyrika I found an other clue.” He say the last part a bit dramatic and then he sings the song.
“//When the hearth fire turns to blue What to do? What to do? Run outside. Run and hide. When your bright sword turns to rust Who to trust? Who to trust? Stand alone. Standing stone. See a woman pale as Snow? Silent come and silent go. What’s their plan? What’s their plan? Chandrian. Chandrian. When the hearth fire turns to blue What to do? What to do? Run outside. Run and hide. When his eyes are black as crow Where to go? Where to go? Near and far. Here they are. See a man without a face? Move like Ghosts from place to place. What’s their Plan? What’s their plan? Chandrian. Chandrian//”
Oryxis is fascinated by the story and the parallels of his own pride of leonin, back home. He liked puzzles, and when Edgar started singing his song, he would start to ponder the different bits: "I heard tales of people that come back after... pale husks of their former selves. Never really gave much credence to the tales. Could be that's what the song's about though. Not sure what is meant by the blue hearthfire to be honest- usually that's some sorcerer's work."
Looking over at Fenro, he adds: "I'm happy to take the second watch. I need to keep sharp, and that includes fighting off sleepiness and exhaustion."

He goes to discuss this with Aramae to see what he thinks of this.
