"Not sure, give me a moment." Crouching beside Silthras, Velyra utters a quick prayer to Saindail, sending electric sparks across her eyes as she peers closely at the undead surrounding the manner, trying to determine why they might be so focused on it.
legolas, what do your elf eyes see?
I don't know what kind of skill check I should use DM, so I leave it in your hands? But she has Guidance, and I assume advantage from Silthras' help.
With her own experience with the undead in town, coupled with what insights Silthras gained the previous night, Velyra is left puzzled by the behavior of those around the manor. Typically these undead have been seen taking random paths, seeking out stimulation in any direction. But this particular group(6 total around the manor's perimeter) has been following the same path around the manor since you arrived(the past 15 minutes or so). Recognizing the behavior as unusual, she would now also realize that the 2 in the road and 4 in the field are also acting out of character, staying in the same vicinity instead of wandering off.
They don't appear to be hungrily clawing at the manor, like those around the apothecary the previous day were.

“Lift us up to have a better look.” Usul says as he gets a boost to look at the manor. Trying to see if the gates appear to all be closed, and relatively undamaged, and the same for the building it self. ie. Trying to learn what’s keeping them out.
perception 18 (if the boost = help) 7. + 3 if ‘guided as well’ ((obviously ignore any rolls not needed))
Kal surveys the open field before them, counting up the total undead. "Twelve in total...But split in half across two groups. I don't see us sneaking all the way up there, but I think we could fight our way through."
Usul(this information doesn't really take a skill check, so it's all good :) ) Even from here, you can easily see the gate is wide open. From the gate, the manor is approximately another hundred feet away. You are facing the northern part of the building, about a quarter of the building is in ruin from the west side. Charred wood, collapsed roofing and walls mar the building from the western corner. Even from this distant vantage point, you're almost certain there's an easy entrance into the building from the west side - nothing is there to keep the undead out.
Velyra slips her shield onto her arm, watching the nearest two undead. "If we decide to go through them, we still don't want to make too much noise." She says. "I'll put a pin in the spells that go boom, unless we absolutely need to get out in a hurry."
“If we get just a bit closer” ((within 80ft)) Usul says, gauging the distance to the nearest undead “We can get a shot off before they even have a chance to react. And then maybe even one or two more before they can get to us.” Usul then pulls his crossbow across from his pack and starts testing the strings.
Silthras pulls his bow from his shoulder, "I can manage a little further, before I shift to more effective spells ((160' & 120')), but with luck we can make the first shots count...we may even be able to clear the crossroads without the others noticing."
"But...should we do that, and risk attractive everything from town? Or just try to draw them away again, so the rest of us can get to the Manor. You could circle back, or escape to the roofs if we retreat"
Kal slides his own shield on and then draws his longsword quietly. Attacking from afar was not really an option for him, but he would let the others take their shots first. "They're already acting strange. As you said, it's like they're defending the place. We might not be able to draw them away."
"So long as nothing explodes, we shouldn't have to worry about attracting the rest of the town."
“There also must be some reason they are not entering the manor.” Usul says. “Our magic certainly couldn’t do it, but there may be some that can? Wanna take a gamble?” As he smirks he looks to see if there is enough room for him to sprint past them.
"Could be they just don't have orders to enter the manor, I'm not sure if that would stop them from following intruders inside." Kal replies, "but...Even if they do chase us inside, we'll be less likely to draw attention to ourselves fighting in there than out here. I'm willing to try it."
Silthras looks at the undead in the fields and on the road, unsure how observant they might be. "Shall we try to pick off two in the field -- on this side of the road -- and see if that attracts any attention? If not, we try for the two on the road, then move forward?"
He glances behind to the buildings, "And if they all start moving towards us, we return to the roof?"
The manor and the six other undead patrolling it are just off screen to the west. I'm having trouble finding assets I could use to build a burned/crumbling structure, so that's why I left it out of this particular map.
Kal shrugs, still gazing out across the field. "If you wish to retreat to the roof you can. I can stay on the ground to hold them within your range, there's only six of them out here."
"Even if they all rushed us at once, without those clawed monstrosities I feel we could win the fight easily."

"Let's do it then!" Usul says. Always one for safety, and a better view, Usul uses his mage hand and rope to climb up to the balcony of the building they are standing on. He then takes careful aim, tightening his string, and waits for the signal, and looses a bolt at a zombie that the others said they would not attack, feeling confident that his bolt alone could take one out. He then reloads and fires off another as the zombies start towards them.
surprise round?: Attack: 26 Damage: 31 ((advantage for surprise and/or Steady Aim)) initiative: 22 ---------- Round 1: Attack: 26 Damage: 24 ((advantage Steady Aim)) Bonus action: steady aim focusing his shot on any that are moving towards them, but again, aiming for one that has not yet been injured.
Due to the previous stealth rolls, and the pitiful passive perception of these creatures, they will be "surprised" for the first round, meaning they can't do anything really. So for Round 1, everyone takes their actions in whatever order. After that, we will start with the order below, which kicks off with Usul.
Usul Z5 Kal Silthras Z2 Z3 Z4 Velryra Z1 Z6(forgotten, so I will place him at the end)
Silthras' hand begins to glow with an eerie purple light as magical energy builds, then he looks to Usul, "After you, sir" he says, as he moves a little south of their position, trying to remain unobserved.
Readied action: Cast Eldritch Blast after Usul has fired, either at the one he hit if it still stands, or the one near it.
Stealth, if needed: 17
Attack: Attack: 18 Damage: 8, Second attack roll, if Advantage: 26
