This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Loran sighs somewhat in frustration when he sees the callous elf in front of him turn away after dropping a coldly sarcastic remark. Waiting for her to leave out of sight, Loran begins to help Zinhorn rummage through the ruins looking for possible clues.
"She might find Sken before we do, she does seem experienced." Loran analyses, worried, "but I'm afraid of what she will do with the information, it can easily fall in the wrong hands, after all. As she said, she works for herself, and it usually means she's not loyal to anyone."
"Does it really matter though? As long as she ends up behind bars, I don't see why it must be us who will catch her." None the less, he goes to the closest cell which contains a prisoner and tries to ask them: "Hey, you, did you hear the Goliath that escaped here earlier this evening say anything while she was here? Did she expect to be released? Was she mentioning any names?"
The door into the cell is slightly bent but still closed. Through the small door into the cell across a mangy looking dwarf moves into view. "All I heard was a few clinks and then the explosion. My ears are still ringing. Good on the lass for getting outta here" He then moves back out of view.
You seem flustered as well by your interaction with Yinra. You see piles of rock and rubble an overturned bed and the chamber pot slightly imbedded in the wall.
You can see that the bed seems to have scorch marks on just one side of it. Looking closer you find a jagged, fist-sized shard of bronze lodged in the bed. It smells strongly of sulfur and burned blasting powder, and doesn’t match any other objects in the cell.
Also scanning the room you can see multiple burn marks telling you that there were multiple explosions, not just one. And based on the pattern of rock laying around they came from inside the room.
As you move one of the larger pieces of rock you find a strange, flat automaton the size of a dinner plate. It appears to be made from iron, resembles a crab, and looks damaged beyond the point of functionality. Looking up you also judged based on Its size it would have fit through the skylight.
Loran comes up and sees Sila pulling a smashed crab automaton out of the rubble. "I don't know what this is..." He says hesitantly, purses his lips and looking at the apparently crushed state of the machinery in her hand, "maybe we should take it to someone who can repair it?"
One of the nearby guards speaks up "You can also try Master Maker Cleff Tinkertop. He did some work for the prison before. He's a bit looney if you ask me, but brilliant."
The guard replies "He has a shop in the Idleworks Shelf but it has been closed since the war picked up. The city’s leaders keep him and his daughter Rissa working on warfare designs down in the Builder’s Plot. You can try him there."
Loran still has his gaze lowered as he studied the machine Sila had picked up, curious about the components and construction within, he had never been too familiar with metalwork, but that didn't stop him from wanting to learn more. Hearing guard's reply, he looks up and nods thankfully at him, saying, "Thanks, we'll go see if he could help us."
He turns and inquires Zin before they leave, "Do you know the way to Idleworks Shelf?"
((Sorry, classes started again, I might be a bit sporadic. I'll try my best though))

Welp, Loran didn't find anything.
(lol Where are you?, What are you even doing here?)
Your frustration is getting the best of you, this place is a mess.

When you make your roll post....but hit enter instead of clicking post.....

"Anyone see anything of use to us? This whole situation just really feels off, even how a group of kobolds just get in the town and blast a way out.."
Sila looks around the room, scanning everything. She doesn't speak until people start talking again.

SIla seems to be a bit more focused on the scene.

Perhaps the rather 'upbeat' tinker we spoke with earlier would be a possible candidate??
"Sounds like an idea," Sila confirms, looking around to make sure she has all the pieces. "This might be what helped with the break out."

This seems to be our best lead. Guard, where about could we find the Master maker?
