I'm a forever DM who really craves to be a player. I'm looking to either play in a campaign module and i'm willing to run one for another Forever DM to do the same.
My proposal is this. I run game for you. you run game for me. If we can get 3-4 players who are all willing to run games for eachother We all get to be a players!
Expectations
1.) Consistency. Try to post at least once a day. either in the morning or evening. If you can post more often awesome but 1 post per day is pretty reasonable. 2.) Keep backstories simple and tailored to the campaign. 3.) As a DM you should be running the game how you want it to be ran. No phoning it in.
My Campaign
i personally run 3 games already so i'm looking to do something easy such as a campaign module. either lost mines (because i never get past Act1) Or Out of the Abyss
That sounds pretty good to me. I've never played Lost Mines, but I've read it. I'm not familiar with Out of the Abyss at all.
I would be happy to run either a module or a homebrew. My favorite campaign setting is Eberron, and I rarely get to run it and have never played in it, so that would be my first choice to either run/play. But I would also be happy to run/play Curse of Strahd, Rime of the Frostmaiden, or Descent into Avernus.
I'm not very confident in my DMing skills, but I would be open to giving it a try. More games, more good, right?
I was thinking it would be cool if all the games were in the same universe or homebrew setting we all create together. But if we just do modules, that sounds simple and doable.
Same universe DMing is pretty cool for sure. but if its homebrew things can get messyish. HOwever if we do Sword COasts campagins then no reason people couldnt meet up pretty easily eventually
Hi - I am definitely interested in this. I am currently running 2 Roll20 campaigns, so I completely understand. Happy to run one of the future campaigns as well. I like the idea of keeping them all in the same world building off each other, happy to run any of the published modules (Hoard, Rime, or Strahd...etc.)
Hey Folks i have enough people for my personal pbp game however if youd like to join the server and play with eachother i'm trying to make it easy for all to come in and out of the game
