Katharine investigates the wall and realises that the nature of the wall is similar to that of a Wall of Force. However, there seems to be a slight alteration to the wall. It seems that there is some property to the wall that would make it reflect some spells if you are not careful.

Best wakes up from frogdom and looks at Cade "Thank you that helps a lot." He then listens to Katherine and tries to come up with what might be the best path forward.
"Okay," Katharine says after studying the wall. She quickly explains what she has determined as the nature of the wall. "So does anyone have a way of getting around a wall of force? Otherwise, we will have to go back up."
Nephris shakes his head, "Sorry, don't know that one. Do you want me to try and dispel those runes on the ground on the other side of the wall? Otherwise, I'm at a loss as to how to proceed. We can head to Dresden if no answer presents itself."
As Cade attempts to go around the wall of force by burrowing through the ground, he quickly realises that there are enchantments placed in the earth to prevent such attempts.

Seeing Cade try to burrow and blocked by whatever enchantment holds the ground together, Nephris steps forward and casts Dispel Magic (6th level) on the glyph on the ground that he can see.
Cade casts Dispel Magic against one of the two glyphs on the other side of the Wall of Force. It momentarily blinks out of existence before reappearing on the floor. It seems that the casting of Dispel Magic was not strong enough to permanently remove the glyph.

Nephris grumbles, "Well, that's a little disappointing. Unless someone else has an idea, we may have to abandon this way forward for the time being and ascend the tower again. Sorry friends."
"Those glyphs are most likely dangerous. I assume we could get there with your arcane gate but once there how do we protect ourselves from the dangers?"
Nephris scratches his chin, "Well, unless someone can conjure a creature on that side there is no way of knowing for sure. So we can roll the dice and see where luck falls for us as we use the gate across, or we can leave lady luck alone for the time being and head back upstairs?"
Nephris shrugs, "Either is fine, I suppose. We basically just want to confirm if those things will endanger us if we magically transport ourselves across this barrier. Though perhaps something that will place its feet on the ground rather than a flying creature, just in case the glyph works off something touching the ground around it."

Nephris nods, "That would be a waste. I could polymorph our friend so that he can escape he new incarceration?"

Seeing Cade picking up the polymorphed Best see shrugs her shoulders, "Well, that's sorted. Now I want to figure a way around that wall at the end."
She walks up to the wall and examines it
