Vadania takes her axe in her hand and steps between Sulskan and Limine. She says, "Stop. A pack does not fight among themselves. We must make the best of the current situation. Everyone besides Limine, should hide. If any beast tries to attack her, we spring forward and cleave it to pieces."
Sulskan's spirits hiss at him to end the life of the puny tiefling that ruined their surprise but Sulskan manages to shut them up and recognizes the worth in Vadania's words. With that, he pulls his axe back and runs towards the trees attempting to make himself as hidden as possible.
Limine's voice rings out in the forest, echoing through the quiet meadows. The trees rustle as the wind carries the sound farther. For a moment, all is still.
The party dashes to their hiding places, leaving her in place. A moment passes...two. Nothing seems to happen.
Then, from within the locked cabin, there's a rattling of chains, followed by a deep, inhuman moan.
(Also wanted to mention, there's actually a second building in the glade, a smaller hut close by the circle)
Limine:
There's only one building in Trishdale with stone as old as the tile: the Wizard's Tower. It was there when the first settlers arrived, half-ruined yet glorious. It stands now, a testaments to the prowess of it's builders. Archeologists have found evidence of an ancient civilization in Alycron, and dug up artifacts with puzzling implications. Named "The Ancestors," the civilization seemed to have been incredibly advanced and powerful, even more so than modern times. Still, some catastrophe must have occurred, as all that remains of the ancestors are ruins.

Limine walks between the buildings so she's as close to all of them as possible. (Trying to include as much of their area within a 30 ft. radius from Limine, as possible. If impossible, she'll prefer to include the cabin where she heard the noises coming out of over the other building.) She then touches her Bonnet and using its powers, she tries to sense any creature within 30 ft. of her.
Limine's extends the power of the Spirit's Bonnet out. The hut and stone tile are void and empty, but inside the cabin...there is a presence. A burning sensation of pure hatred and agony emanates from within.
Limine tries to read the creature's thoughts. 'The runes outside... what do they mean?' She asks, shaping the creature's thoughts to reveal the answer, if it knows it. If she does not receive an answer, she'll try to probe deeper into the creature's mind.
Sulskan just stays near the back of the group and thinks for a second about Vadania's suggestion before responding, "We don't know if our quarry is inside the cabin, burning the cabin would also prevent us from discovering the true cause of what happened at the farm. I say we wait. Limine looks like she is doing something."

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
When she first shifts onto the creatures mind, she is immediately confronted with a blast of raw emotion. Agony, hatred, and hopelessness like she's never felt before. The creature doesn't even seem to possess any surface thoughts, but there is a strange indecipherable muttering.
That is until, Limine makes her presence known. There's a single flash of an image- a robed figure lighting red candles at specific places on the runes, but that fades away. The muttering gets louder, but seeing no other information forthcoming, Limine probes deeper.
WIS Save: 11
The strong smell of liquor spilling around you. Choking, warm blood flowing down your fingers. Collapsing against a hard floor. A flash of a lab coat, and a woman's laughter. Then darkness.
A light in the darkness. You head for it, but the darkness behind you takes shape. It grabs your arms and legs, and though you struggle, you are pulled back.
Then, pain and agony again. The pungent smell of chemicals and a bubbling noise. And, the same woman's laughter.
The inhuman moan from within the cabin grows louder, transforming into a series of guttural grunts. But suddenly, whatever's inside becomes agitated. It yells, the chains rattle louder- there's a sound as one of them seems to snap.
Whatever Limine did, the creature inside doesn't seem to like it. What does the party do?
"Who are you?" Limine asks both mentally and verbally, her voice still booming much stronger than usual. "What happened to you? Who is the figure wearing the robes?" Limine bends forward a little, reaching with her arms to her head, or to the bonnet, even she wasn't really sure why. Her usually motionless tail uncoils from her leg and starts to lash around her. She wasn't known to be very sympathetic but, with the bonnet's powers connecting between them, it seems like some of the emotions get through to her. "Who is the woman? What happened to her?" She asked too many unrelated questions. "What are these runes? Are they related to all that I'm seeing? Help us understand and I might try to help you!"
Vadania darts forward from her hiding place towards the door with werewolf agility. Upon reaching the door, she drops her axe at her feet and pulls a 10ft long metal chain from her belt (spending a gear slot to get Chain). She uses thee chain to secure the door further so it doesn't break down as easily, essentially giving the existing chains around the door help in holding the thing shut.
Sulskan fingers his axes nervously as Limine continues to ask questions of whatever is inside. He steps forward out of the woods in order to get a better view of what's happening and be in a better position to strike if something does manage to break out of the newly reinforced chains. Hopefully he can also get close enough to get a judgement on how thick the door looks and what material it appears to be made of. He also asks Limine, "Do you have any idea what is inside there? I'd like to be prepared if it manages to get out."
Slurb readies his crossbow, preparing to deal with whatever comes through the door. "What's in there that could merit such security? This isn't natural, be it the runes or the shack."
