17 Thar will cast Witch Bolt at the wolf. Attack: 20 Damage: 9
16 Aeliarin blasts the wolf with Magic Missile for 15 hp damage (total 24)
15 Igneous moves into the room and uses Fist of Unbroken Air on the drow save 13 success and 8hp damage (total 14)
6 Fah'lin casts Bless before the fight starts then follows Grond in to attack the orc for a hit and 11 damage (total 24)
4 Grond misses his surprise attack even when the Bless is added

20 Gijigume stabs the wolf for 7 (total 31) then waits to see what happens with Thar's spell. Seeing it go down he moves to the orc and uses action surge to attack for 12hp damage (36 total)
17 Thar Witch Bolt kills the wolf. Magic missile at the orc for 8 damage (total 44)
16 Aeliarin blasts the orc for 13 damage (total 57)
15 Igneous punches the drow twice for 11 damage (total 25)
7 Orc attacks Grond and gets hit by Fah'lin for 16 damage (total 60) Attack: 21 Damage: 14 and Attack: 17 Damage: 15 half damage because raging minus 13 because of stone's endurance = 1 hp damage ;-0

Well while you're trying to work out what to do with an imperious drow fighter you also search this place from top to bottom and find:
A cask of dwarven brandy with a slight magical tinge to it
five spears, four longswords, three morningstars, two greatswords, and a quarterstaff of excellent quality
a gold statuette of a sun elf (magical)
a potion of healing, a spell scroll of silence, and a spell scroll of revivify.
potion of healing X 3, and a map to Wave Echo Cave.

While this section is shorter (mainly because you ignored all the side quests in town) you have made it to 4th level

Gijigume has a good look at the statue (Arcana 3).
Having grown in experience Fah'lin will grant the dwarves a small amount of health from his Lay on Hands pool. "Welcome back to the world of the living."
(I did go back to ask after the folks we'd encountered. I guess those in need we'd not yet met.)
A well crafted quarter staff could be better than a regular old staff. If no one minds Fah'lin'll put his will in that on the next long rest.
