Once everyone is finished with their shopping they go to the keep and meet with Nighthill. The governor nods and turns to the group. "I appreciate everything you've done for us so far and I ask you of another task. I want to know why these raiders attacked Greenest. I was hoping you would find their camp and any valuable information they came here. You aren't working for Greenest, so I'm not ordering you to do this, but I'm willing to pay you 250 gold pieces each for this mission."

"It'd be a pleasure to root them out like the rats they are sir." Thufir says, adding, "Is there anything your scouts have found about the location or size of their camp?"
Waldeyr is shaking his head as Nighthill speaks right up until the reward is mentioned. “Well, we can hardly turn our backs on these good people! We should follow through! Gain some closure.”
Nighthill nods. "Thank you. Our scouts haven't found a camp, but there are likely footprints. You've got also managed to capture one of their men and they could tell you where the camp lies."

“Ah… right.” Thufir says. “My head was aching a bit yesterday and lost track of him. I’ll head down and talk to him in a bit.”
((just to queue things up… we can resolve this once the group is done with the gov))
Heading down to where the prisoner is, Thufir stands in front of the bars the man is behind and kicks at the bars to get the man’s attention. “Sleep well Sunshine?”He growls. “Figure out you’re on the wrong side yet?” Not really waiting for an answer he says, “You’re the lucky one from yesterday. And depending on how well you help us your life might actually improve a bit. Or don’t, and rot here. I’ve got some experience with your group.” Holding up his hand in a mockery of the salute that the cultists use amongst themselves. “Always trying to take eggs from the wrong basket. And here you are. Taking people from this town. Turns out that didn’t go so well either eh? We know there is a camp of yours not far off, and the scouts on tracking your friends’ retreat now. But you can make our job easier and I’ll bring you some meat and wine. Better than the slop you got last night I’m sure. Tell us why you were here. What were you looking for. Where is the camp and how many of you are there.”

Waldeyr will follow Thufir and begin scratching a dagger across the stone of the jail walls while fixing the cultist with a glare. (helping in intimidation)
"I jumped in last night on my own accord because I love freedom above all else and people that were met, I've dealt with their type before. Pirates and slavers cultist all the same, I'll be in." He looks at Thufir "There is something I need to do. I'll meet you after you find out things from this human."

"Twelve miles to the south," the cultist says. "There's a large camp where we also guard the hatchery. I don't know much else, except that there's a rearguard that posts itself out of town, waiting for any pursuers from the village."
Wolfstine, you just see the rubble and chaos that not only your friends made, but also the various messes from the raiders.

Listening to the prisoner Thufir nods and leaves silently, returning a few minutes later and tossing a wine or beer skin on the floor at his feet along with some grub from the soldiers mess. Nothing special, but far better than dungeon food, and he did promise the man a reward if he helped. Leaving afterwards he turns to Wolfstine and says through his teeth, clearly holding his anger in, “Seems they have a hatchery…” He then continues, “There is also a forward guard they have scouting the town. We should find and ambush them before approaching their camp, which is south, about four leagues from here.”
"I appreciate how straight forward you are Thufir but we may want to be more covert in out actions, after all the saying is the better part of valor is discretion."
Fargen rouses from his after-meal nap. Unaware of the recent conversations, he takes an interest with talk of tactics.
The gruff dwarf scowls, "I don't like these bastards eyeing townfolk like vultures. Aye, let's pay a visit to the forward guard."
He addresses Wolfstine, "No doubt you are real quiet. But there's little tiptoeing in our armor." he motions to the chainmail on Thufir and himself. "If you want to scout, best be far ahead."
Once everyone is ready to leave, you begin to move south and follow the trail. The trail leads south about twelve miles, to a more rugged region where steep-sided, rocky plateaus replace the gently rolling hills. The land between the plateaus is largely flat, broken only by outcroppings and wandering streams in steep-sided gullies.
Everyone gives me Perception checks.

Thufir and Wolfstine you notice several tracks moving in the direction to where you're traveling. Wolfstine, you get a better look into the distance and see a small camp where four cultists and eight kobolds appear to be having lunch. They haven't seemed to notice you yet.
