Azzure says “Let’s leave this area and head toward the castle. I believe it lies to the north. Shall we?” He unties himself and puts his rope back in his pack.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The spell Torman has on him wears off as it takes an hour to get where you have a good view of the creator the dragon created 2 miles down you can see it along with a few hundred orcs, that just happened to be in their home at the bottom of the gorge. They look like ants after someone kicked an anthill from the view you have.
(I wonder what cunning Artificer created the walkway and handrail on the left)
Gryrig sorts out his pack and equipment, straightens his clothes and (being a bard) quickly checks his hair and overall appearance in his little pocket mirror or any other shiny object.
"A capital idea. Let's go, before those Orcs notice us."
While walking to the castle / crash-site, Gryrig works on composing a heroic ballad to celebrate their defeat of the Dragon. As he writes and re-writes it, you hear various snippets of it like "... brave Duncan faced Glazhael man to wyrm, and seeing his boldness the dragon did squirm ... fair Kat, invisible through spell, shot straight her arrows and made the dragon's life hell ... as the fight grew fierce the dragon tried to hide, but Azzure's guiding bolt turned the battle to the hero's side ... a dragon of ice and snow, it suffered when Torman's fiery magic did blow ... defeated and bled, the ice wyrm was shamed and fled ... our heroes pursued the vermin and though it tried to attack, a final volley laid it dead on its back ..."
The chorus is a catchy
"So hear us folks, if you dragons you see, and your life in danger be;
then call upon my friends and me, and we'll be heroes for ye!"
Following along and leaving the dragon’s body behind for now, Duncan listens appreciatively to the song, but keeps a sharp eye out for any threats along their way. He rests a hand on his magic flail, trusting in its magic to alert him if danger is immanent.

Luckily or unluckily, the road swings north after a half a mile. The further north you go the higher you go the colder it gets. You find that holding your weapons longer than a minute is not an option for your fingers go numb and you start to suffer cold damage.
You find what you're looking for, 10 miles later scattered across the road and up a cliff, blocking it in a slurry of ice-cubes. The only thing that identifies what it was, is a single turret on top of the mountainous mound, halved by the impact of the castle.
Above the loud wind, a deep voiced, tearful, mournful, sobbing, can be heard from the half turret, from an unseen source. For clouds swirl and surround the top of the Turret, and nowhere else.
Azzure motions to the others after they see this and then seeks a good spot out of sight, and begins ritually casting Leomund’s Tiny Hut. He motions for everyone to come inside, where they are protected and the temperatures are much better, it is warm and dry. “Let’s rest in here. Then perhaps we could have a look at that tower. Who’s in there crying?”

Torman, with icicles forming on his beard, happily enters the little hut formed by Azzure. "Oh! Thank you kind sir. I was about frozen through!" He takes a seat and starts vigorously rubbing his hands together, "I'm not sure who the crying belongs to, but sure sounds forlorn."
”Perhaps one of the surviving giants mourns for the loss of her companions and Flying Fortress,” supposes Duncan, “and yes, a respite would be good before continuing…It has been a long day, and we might have found some more items of use in that treasure pile we could evaluate in this magically protected sanctuary.”

Gryrig is happy to take the opportunity to rest in this little bubble of warmth and shelter. He sets about making himself a tasty meal from the rations in his pack, and talks with the rest of the party about the excitement of slaying the dragon and escaping the castle. Later, as he lays down to rest and closes his eyes, he thinks of treasure and fame, and goes to sleep with a smile on his face.
The eight hours go peacefully past, as the snow swirls outside from a snow storm. Coating the tiny hut, creating a dome of Ice and snow, so the group cannot see outside. Finally you have a minute left on the spell and each has the urge to take care of a personal nature. #2 or #1 or both.
Gryrig gathers up his stuff and, using his staff, pokes some holes through the ice and snow cover to have a look outside before the spell ends. If it seems safe (and they haven't been surrounded by Orcs or something similar) he will then step out and do his business by the closest snowdrift or other piece of cover.
"Damn. We seem to have gotten ourselves buried deep in snow. Any ideas how we can get ourselves out?", he says, looking at the group askingly - thinking that a Wizard or Cleric might have some intelligent solution here.

I forgot to roll performance, to see how good the song actually is: 21
Edit. New roll 7
(Gryrig is clearly not as good at writing heroic songs as he thinks he is)
(Edit. Originally 7, now it displays a 11 and the new roll of 9. So the dice gods definitely agree that it's not a great song)
Azzure enjoys the tune, and marches in step, pleased to have a distraction from their harrowing fight and escape.

Ether Edit the post or try again Gryrig I'm getting the "Dice rolls not yet available for this section thing".
Duncan What are you doing?

( Weird. It displayed as "7" for me, hence my comment that Gryrig didnt do very well. I'll edit and re-roll)

(Just as an idea, would Thunderwave be able to clear out the snow? Not exactly subtle though, as it would make us heard far away)
