“Umm…” Azzure sounds unsure of himself. “I haven’t had that happen before. I’m unprepared for my little hut to be surrounded by snow, I have no easy way of extracting us. I don’t think we can get the hut to move by pushing against it. I don’t have any good spells for this application.” He looks over to Torman - - “Do you?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
As the realization of the situation dawns on Torman, he realizes he is a bit claustrophobic. "I uh... this is not a good situation." He looks around a bit with panic starting to show on his face. But when Azzure directs a question to him, it seems to center him a bit and he can concentrate.
"Well, I can shoot a firebolt through the snow.. at least try that? Maybe shoot several if need be? What do you guys think?"
"Perhaps we should do both. Let's blast away the snow - once the dome is recast. That way, if we attract any unwanted attention at least we would have a shelter to retreat to".
"I may be able to burn away the snow, but it might be overkill. Could also try sending a rope up... This hut we can or can't cast from inside?", Kat asks, twisting the ring on her finger.

Kat takes her backpack and pushes it up through the dome, trying to pack the snow enough that she can stick her head up though. She'll test it with her hands first, however. If she's able to pack it a bit, she'll poke a hole in the pack with her rapier, and potentially try to send some rope upwards.

Azzure begins recasting leomund’s tiny hut, in a ritual fashion if possible, protecting them from the elements as they think about their current predicament. “We need to burn and melt our way out of here. I cannot easily do so. This will protect us, for now.”

Kat keeps using her pack to push out of the hut and compact the snow, forming a little snow cave around the tiny hut, and hopefully giving them more time to make their next move.
"I had a troubling thought. Probably means nothing, but when we were up in the giant's castle, they mentioned. Blagothkus' wife having died, but then didn't he later say something about his wife leading us somewhere?"

It takes a minute to cast the spell. Meanwhile, the original ends halfway thru the casting leaving a dome of ice and snow that creaks and groans under its own weight.
It seems like it takes forever as Azzures voice chants and echoes in the icy dome. A layer of slush falls on the group, some of it going down your back, just in time the tiny hut is back.
You have 8hrs to decide what to do as long as the caster doesn't leave the tiny hut.
Kat lets out a tensely held breath. "We either need to get out of here, or designate a latrine corner... Side... Place."
"Well, most us can just push the snow aside and have a little side-cave for our 'business'. Let's hope that the impermeability and protective properties of the sphere include smells. It's only Azzure who cannot leave the hut"
In the meantime, Gryrig tries to work out how deep the snow above them is. Can we poke through it with a staff of similar to work this out?
Using his College of Creation feature, Gryrig will summon as long a pole as he can, and try to poke a hole in the ceiling. Depending on how deep they are, he suggests just tunnelling out at a diagonal (with a shovel he can similarly summon). Assuming we're not too deep, we should be able to get rid of the snow we shovel out by putting it in the opposite end of the hut
Still thinking a firebolt would help melt a tunnel for them and getting desperate still stuck inside this hut with the others, Torman starts digging hand over hand into the snow along the side furthest from the rest. He sprays some snow into the hut with his fervent approach but he doesn't seem to notice.
Once the small dwarf is able to get a large enough hole that he feels he can start his firebolt outside of the hut and direct it away from the rest to start melting the snow, he shouts back to the others. "Aight, Ima gonna shoot some fire away from the hut. I need to get outta here. But I won't if any of you have issues with it, so I thought I'd check first. If not, lets see what happens."
If no one stops him, he'll cast his cantrip to try and melt the snow, angling the shot upwards, kind of like a ramp in a tunnel if it works.
(If you re-cast, does the hut end when the new one springs into existence, or when you start casting? Ie could we get enough snow to put Azzure just below the roof of the current hut, recast, throw the snow now in the new dome to the cavity below this dome. Then do the same again. Like the way you move straight upwards in Minecraft by placing blocks below)
"Fire away," says Duncan, much more relaxed now that they have a new dome to protect them from being buried in the snow should it be much deeper than they anticipate..,

((Ah, I missed the 'each' earlier it seems and took it to just be a warning for one of us, as it wasn't on DD's character sheet. Guess that explains how she's able to carry a few hundred pounds of gear around! I looked into it a bit more, and there seems to be support for it only causing a bad reaction if you put a bag of holding inside another item, but that extra planar travel, rope trick, Mordy's Mansion, etc are all fine. If DM says it's bad, it's bad though.))
