Welcome to the Emporium of Mayhem! What sort of mischief do you seek today? Pyromaniac Wyldfyre searching for her place in the world.
Kat slips a hand into the basket, pulling out a hard boiled egg, which she starts to eat as they move onward. "Let's see what else is on this level then." She remarks as she moves down the hallway. She does not move away without her companions, waiting for them, but ready to move.
"Ok, ready to move onward then?" kat asks as everyone finishes eating. "I'd like to get this ground-floor cleared, so we can move on to the upper level."
In the Kitchen there are stairs leading downwards in the lower left hand corner you think may be a basement. Stairs leading upward in the northwest corner. A door in the center of the west wall. There is one door in the north wall that leads outside. You know because you saw someone go outside.
There are also two doors on the east wall of the kitchen.
Of course the hallway you're in leads to the room in the south you've already been to and the two western bedrooms. As well as the foyer with the Gargoyles trapped armor, and stairs. And two unexplored doors, one in the northeast and one in the southeast corners.
"Let's go and check out the doors back this way." Kat suggests, moving to the door in the SE corner that is unexplored. She would not leave without her companions, waiting for them to be ready before moving out.
(The kitchen seems more of a hub, giving access up and down, so clearing those unexplored two other doors is likely a good place to go first, then return to the kitchen to explore the doors there before using the stairs. At least that is my thoughts. Willing to hear other ideas.)
The door is unlocked, you enter a 30ft long by five foot wide hallway. To your immediate right is another door. Twenty foot down on the right is another door. And, directly east at the end of the hallway is another door.
"Check this one first?" Kat says, stepping up to the door directly to the right. She glances to the others, ready to open it if they all seem ready for her to do so.
Dulhgar will step up near behind Kat. "I'm right behind ya lass." And with a flick of his wrist the armor he's wearing seems to crawl down covering his hands and up over his head. The only things visible now are his eyes and a bit of his nose thru the slight T-shaped cutout in his helmet.
"Well we can count that one off our list then." Kat says with a smile, closing the door again. She nods and moves on down the hall, going for the door on the right towards the end of it. She waits for the others to be ready, then will open it to see what is on the other side.
You open the door on the right at the end of the hallway. This room is stacked with blankets, sheets, various animal furs, tablecloths, flags, banners, and rolled-up rugs. In this room, there is also another door directly south in this 20ft wide by 15ft room. Once you get closer to the door at the east end of the hallway, you can smell an ungainly smell. (Kind of like a high-school locker room that hasn't been cleaned in awhile.)

Duhlgar is at the back of the group trying to get his face a bit closer to the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen. "See if they have any pork!"
As one of the cooks walks out an exit. They give you a basket of boiled eggs and 16oz of ham

Duhlgar sniffing the air follows Wyldfyre and the food basket. "Lets find a spot to eat this lass, no sense exploring on an empty stomach!"
You can find a safe place to eat in one of the bedrooms but this is what you've seen so far

Wyldfyre nods, "yes, let's go. We need to find the rest of the conference so we can submit our report and see where they will send us next."

Wyldfyre follows as Kat leads, alert for cultists or other dangers, but trying to keep more of a "touristy" image rather than an "explorer."
