Korrik runs up the stairs and readies his staff for a strike on a lizardfolk should they break out and are hostile.
The lizardfolk have heard the cuffuffle outside, especially the smuggler who has been yelling. They are startled and concerned as to what is going on. They can hear screams of pain. They would be assuming that the ship is under some type of an attack, or something of that nature. Either way, they are spooked. The first one tries the door, and it doesn't open. Now they start to panic a bit. You all likely hear some draconic with some broken English thrown in. "....meaning of this??! Door not open! Smash!"
One lizardfolk tries to smash the door/restraint. I believe it was rope that was used to tie off the doors, so I'll use the rope DC. STR 15
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ash is relieved to see Ess dash up, and impale the smuggler with his sword! She gives him a look that says ‘Oh! Niiice!…’, and then attempts to put the poor smuggler out of their suffering…
…if either hit, take an extra 10sneak attack damage.
((If this smuggler dies, she’ll use her movement to get out into the deck near the mast (maybe up the ladder 5 or 10 feet if she can reach with normal movement only) to get a good look around at what’s left))
((edit… oh no! 2x misses?? If that’s the case, she will stay there with Ess in melee with their foe))
Ash tries to finish the guy off, but he's somehow able to swat away both of the dagger stabs in a last ditch effort to stay alive.
Ben, you can see the smuggler from where you're currently standing, and your words really get to him. His eyes go bloodshot as he sees you insult him and his heart stops immediately.
((results of the persuasion roll to be determined on lizardfolks turn - but that is a good point about disadvantage for the roll, 15 will be used, thank you))
Ess sees the smuggler fall to the ground and then runs back out, looking at Captain Ben, and then he puts 2 and 2 together and runs behind the rowboat and ducks down, taking out his longbow and readies an arrow to be let loose should any lizardfolk come out of the door in a hostile manner towards the 'Captain'.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((Sorry all!! Thanks for being so patient all the time. Now, where were we...))
Yes correct, Ben would've seen the 3 of them from earlier.
Korrik holds position on the upper deck, staff in hand.
The lizardfolk respond, again in broken common but mostly draconic ".... fight? ... .... meaning of this!? LET OUT!" and then a significantly longer string of just draconic.
One of them tries to force the door open again, and the other two seem to leave the room as the 3 voices turn into one.
STR: 10
You guys seemed to have secured the door quite well. The lizardfolk can't seem to get it open.
If there are no immediate threats, Ash puts her daggers away, pulls out her light crossbow, hides behind the boat on deck, and looks to Ben for the next play.
She readies a crossbow shot, for in case she sees any lizard folk moving to take an aggressive attack action against any of the party.
She doesn't care if they’re simply aggressive, it’s if they go to actually attack…
She keeps an eye on the deck-hatch, and the other doors too, just in case ((passive perception: 15, …in case anyone is trying to sneak up on them))
Ash, Ess looks over to you as you come up to the boat where he is also ducking down. You both have your ranged weapons out, ready for any hostile actions (attacks) from the lizardfolk. Ash, you don't notice any other people coming up from the deck hatch, or anywhere else.
Ben, Ess nods at your command as you get a bit closer to the door. The lizardfolk's response to your yell with that 24 will be revealed on its turn. (There was only 1 lizardfolk in that room that heard Captain Ben). As you survey the deck like Ash, you do not see anyone else coming. You might see Smithers from where you are. He is patiently waiting. A bit worried and concerned but seeing the party take care of things he's feeling a bit more confident.
Ess also readies his longbow again, glancing from door to door, waiting for any hostile act from the lizardfolk, or anyone else.
Korrik is up!
(to save time, I assume Korrik will hold action again - if he moves, let me know and we will retro it!)
The lizardfolk in their quarters responds in broken common and draconic "Captain? Yes. Understand. Now, open door." (so the lizardfolk is still asking to open the door, but now with Captain Ben's roll, it's not trying to smash it down and seems a bit calmer.)
Then, door #1 opens and a lizardfolk bursts onto the deck. It sees Ash and Ess as they are not actually taking the hide action. They have readied attacks. So, keeping that in mind, it yells out to the Captain Ben who it can also see "Captain?! ...... ...... explain immediately ...... draconic expletive draconic expletive meaning of this!?!" it also keeps looking more at Ash and Ess but doesn't attack or anything, only because they can see the Captain Ben.
The other lizardfolk does not make it out onto the deck this round.
Again, if Korrik would've done something else other than hold action, let me know. Otherwise ->
Captain Ben will wave at Kay to hold off on the killing for a second.
"I think I can handle this."
The he thinks, then adds,
"But if not, well, you know."

And it doesn't open.
New post to come.
Another lizard tries to open the door, pushing on it with all its might. 6
and they also fail.
((New posts because I think if you add a roll to a post which already has a roll in it, it will break!!))
Last lizard also tries. 18
Ok, all of the lizards fail to get the door open. They are in a complete panic right now.
Round 4: Ash, Ben, Smuggler, Ess, Korrik, Lizardfolk
Ash is up! And then Captain Ben!

Captain Ben will move to where he can see the last smuggler and say,
"You were a terrible smuggler."
Vicious mockery: 4
He will then call to the lizardfolk, slowly,
"Things are good. Had a small fight. I will get you out soon!"
Persuasion (min 17): 25
((Wisdom save of 13 on that mockery else no damage!))
((It occurred to me that you might want disadvantage on the roll for the lizardfolk due to the language and situation so here is another roll.
Disadvantage persuasion roll: 15))
Ash tries to finish the guy off, but he's somehow able to swat away both of the dagger stabs in a last ditch effort to stay alive.

Maps are updated.
(Ash, Ben,
Smuggler, Ess, Korrik, Lizardfolk)((@Klein, You mean 17 :P, even when he's bad at it he's good!))
((Oops! Yes, 17!))
Korrik still holding position, staff ready to bop the third (if we know there are three??) one out if they come out with hostile intent.

((There are a lot more stairs on this boat than I expected. Put a normal house to shame!)
Ben waves for Ess and Ash to hide then moves to a spot closer to their door (NW, N) and whispers as he goes,
"If they get violent use your best judgement, but try to keep at least one alive."
He then yells,
"Fight is over. Calm down in there. You understand me?"
He'll casually survey the deck for more than just lizardfolk popping up as he yells.
Persuasion disadvantage (min 18): 10
