Korrik kips up off the floor. 

"Thanks Ash!", he mutters through barely cracked lips as he tries to avoid spiders crawling down his throat.

Finally getting a chance to go to town on some spiders, he lays into the big one first, bringing his staff whistling down on it, thrusting with the staff, then spinning and kicking out with one foot as his momentum brings him back around.

He's still a bit unsteady as he tries to get his bearings...

Ben watches as Kay hits then flails about after standing and looks torn between the big spider and purple thing. He decides, again, that the purple thing is the bigger threat and calls to it,

"You can't even take care of a defenseless, trapped halfling? Pathetic."

Cutting words minus 6 to save.

He then tries for a demonic twist on a children's melody, baby spiny devil, to bore into the creature's mind.

Dissonant whispers (DC 15 wisdom save): 11

Korrik, you're able to crack the big spider with your downward staff attack. (-8). It seems to really hurt the creature. The thrust and kick miss, and like you mention, Korrik is still quite unsteady from this whole ordeal.

yes help! eat! Bimz sends to Ben as he flies over to Ess and tries to chow down on some more of the spiders on Ess's face. 

Bimz bites: 5 Damage: 3

"OUCHH!!! FORK!!!" The damage from that bite goes to Ess.(-3)

Round 4: Ben, Ugly Creature, Giant Spider, Swarms, Ash, Ess, Korrik, Bimz

Ben, again the purple monster looks around and seems to be affected by your melody, although this time perhaps not as much. It digs the demonic baby shit. LOL (-5, and it does not move)

The creature decides to once again try and unleash hell on Ash. 

Bite: 7 Damage: 4  if that hits, add 3 poison damage. Lastly, roll a CON save, DC 11 or be poisoned for 1 minute. 

Claws: 12 Damage: 5

Ash evades everything!

The giant spider tries to bite Korrik again.

Bite: 16 Damage: 8  if hit, then roll CON save DC 11 and take 9 poison damage on a fail, half on a success.

and he JUST moves in time.

Ess's swarm continues to try and bite him.

Ess face bites: 9 Damage: 10

And they miss.

And Korrik's face spiders continue to try and nip at him.

Kay face bites: 22 Damage: 13

These spiders are getting a whole lotta Kay face. (-13)

Round 4: Ben, Ugly Creature, Giant Spider, Swarms, Ash, Ess, Korrik, Bimz

Ash dodges every attack this time, but she thinks she was lucky…

”We need to even the odds…”, she says. “Back up, everyone!”.

And with that, she uses her Cunning Action to bonus-action-disengage.

Then she moves back to where Ess is and takes a slice at his spider swarm…

Attack action: Attack: 26 Damage: 7 (piercing damage)

…if it hits, add 8 sneak attack damage (from Ess being within 5ft).

Then she keeps moving ((no AoO for swarm at 5ft)), using her Feline Agility to double her speed, and put herself exactly four-spaces directly north of Ben.

Where she sheaths her offhand dagger, looking like she’s ready to be flexible with melee or ranged weapons, next turn, depending on what happens…

If it wasn’t clear enough from the post ((don’t want to edit it because of the rolls)) and if she could have, when Ash sliced Ess’s spiders, she would have encouraged him to disengage and move back as far as he could…

”Shake the rest off man!!…”, she’d hiss. “Get away from them and regroup!!…”.

Ben watches Ash dash out and encourage Ess to fall back as well. He sends to Bimz,

Korrik has no interest in being left all alone, he takes a couple cracks as the two legged spidery monstrosity, them ducks and weaves through the legs of the spider, moving like a wisp of shadow, ending up with his back against the remains of the mast.

Attack: 9 Damage: 6

Attack: 12 Damage: 10

((Spending ki to 'Step of the Wind' and disengage. Can move through enemy spaces as a halfling.))

Ben will move NE and then E, smoothly pull out his crossbow and shoot the giant spider between it's beady eyes, before moving NE, E and N.

 Attack: 25 Damage: 10

He will say,

"Kay, your performance so far has been subpar, even for you. Stop screwing around!"

(A D8 of bardic inspiration to Korrik.)

"Keep up the good work Ash! Ess... Stay close to Ash."

Ash, you disengage beautifully from the fray and move back to Ess. Your dagger slices off a good amount of the spiders on him. (-7 due to halved damage) and then you retreat back towards Ben as described. 

Ess responds to Ash "aarrrgghhhhh yep forkin' right Ashy!"  (lol @ "Ashy")

Ess will disengage from the swarm as instructed and fumble around with his sword and shield, trying to put them away as he also fumbles for his longbow as he falls back. 

Korrik, you're probably too focused on getting out of the cabin like the others, and so you whiff on all of your attacks but are able to fall back as described. 

Ben, Bimz sends you this image as he flies up into the air 40 ft. 

Round 5: Ben, Ugly Creature, Giant Spider, Swarms, Ash, Ess, Korrik, Bimz

Ben, your crossbow bolt indeed hits the spider between the beady eyes, entering its brain and dropping it instantly. Some fluids leak from the hole. (-10, RIP) 

The purple spider freak creature starts to react negatively by the death of its 'pet', and it races after you all. It reaches Korrik and tries to bite and claw at him, it's ugly mouth hissing as it does so. 

Bite: 23 Damage: 5  if that hits, add 2 poison damage. Lastly, roll a CON save, DC 11 or be poisoned for 1 minute. 

Claws: 9 Damage: 5

The creature is able to bite Korrik! Please roll the CON save. 

The swarms of spiders follow their 'master' and skitter out of the cabin after the party. (@Spider, just go with it. hahahaha!). Both groups of swarms dash towards you all. 

The one that was previously on Ess gets to Korrik and it swarms him.

Ash sees Korrik go down again! She keeps a mental note to charge him back for the cost of all the healing potions ((lol joke))…

She moves next to him (and also into melee with the purple thing. Just NW of it).

While trying to move in a particularly evasive way ((dodge action)), she pours another potion of healing down his throat with her bonus action.

Korrik regains: 7 hit points.

Korrik stumbles to his feet, laying about wildly with his staff and foot, trying to hit the spider freak. He's having a bad time of it.

Ash, you try to be as evasive as you can whilst pouring the potion down Korrik's throat. (+4)

Ess sees Korrik take the spider bites and go down again, and he just says "duuuuuuuuuuuuude!". To be fair, Ess had taken out his bow and put away his sword and shield thinking he was going to use ranged attacks now. Also, if Ess didn't know what Korrik was going to do and if we stay in turn, he would've shot at the creepy spider humanoid before Kay's attacks since he just got revived and all.

Ess Longbow: 22 Damage: 7

Ess's arrow sinks into the thing's flesh. (-7)

Korrik, you shoot up and unleash hell on the creature that Ess just shot. The first two staff attacks smash its body and it falls to the ground, dead. (-21, RIP). The third attack, kicking away some of the spiders on you (-4).

Bimz swoops down and tries to eat some of the spiders on Kay and then he swoops back up as instructed. 

Bimz bites: 17 Damage: 3

He swallows one small spider. (-1)

Round 6: Ben, Ugly Creature, Swarms, Ash, Ess, Korrik, Bimz

Ben is up!

Ben says, more relaxed now,

"Well done everyone! Now let's clean this up."

He looks at the swarm in front of him and then over to ones crawling into Kay's nose. He winces and says to the spiders on Kay,

"You're all just bugs, I'm not going to waste good insults on you that you're too stupid to understand."

Vicious mockery (DC 15 wisdom save): 4

He will then move north up the stairs 30 ft.

(Not much damage but the disadvantage on the attack is worth it... If it fails))
