Kraven cocks his head at the weird mannerism of the Dwarf and while the dwarf is distracted looks about his table and then says, "Is there something about my wing I can help you with?"
The dwarf pulls from his table a large... thing, he egorly throws the object over his shoulders like a bag, he then pulls a lever on the device and a pair of wings pop out.
"I want to be able to fly!" The dwarf is extremely excited that they are still in the upright position. "I have been working on these for years, this is version 13, they aren't perfect yet, but I can glide some."
Looking over and seeing the dwarf deploy his false wings Druquilla joins the conversation, "There are easier way to fly, I know of some who connect to nature then learn how to take the form of animals like birds. I am sure you could also turn to the arcane as well."
"Aye! Sister Selka of White Lake! Just the woman we've been looking for!" Mist sets in, reaching up to hook her elbow and redirect her to walking the interior of the building/room with him and away from the group so they can explore. On a whim, he uses prestidigitation to give himself the scent of a fresh sea breeze (he was probably a little too heavy-handed, like spraying cologne) hoping to endear himself to this crazy person who worships a mythical boat rower.
"We've been sent by the, uh... Oarsm'n! Right. He said that there's some sort o' rock what fell from the sky near here and it's his will we retrieve it for him. He said there's a powerful... uh... evil magic emanating from it which could interfere with his upcoming... ceremonial... culling-I-mean... ferrying of his followers to paradise...?" He quickly recovers. "Irregardless, he's tasked us with gettin' it away from this here holy place forthwith and takin' it somewheres it can be disposed of safely." He stops and turns to face her. "Now, might you have seen such a sky rock hereabouts? We really must hurry if we're to get everyone clear of its circle of influence in time!"
The dwarf looks at Druquilla slightly confused and answers "Yes, maybe and that is all good and well, but if you have not noticed I am a dwarf and I enjoy the craft. See this way here I have made them, not some, some magic."
Selka accepts Mist's behavior and somewhat enjoys the smell. "Unless the Oarsman has send you to ride us of him." Throwing her hand to point at the dwarf talking with the others. "I have not seen or hear of any rock. I only took over about 2 weeks ago after our brothers and sisters were called home by the Oarsman." She smiles at you Mist and look at the door as an other small group gets into the temple. "Welcome brother Olond, may the Oarsman's blessing be on you." She says to a firbolg. She then looks back to Mist and says "You know what, a little less than two months ago part of the spire did fall, it was from above the clouds, so I am not sure what caused it, but maybe it's up there."
Kraven it's a work bench there are tools, spare parts, the burlap like fabric, metal tubes, drawlings and other odds and ends. Anything specific you're looking for?
Druquilla just shrugs at the dwarf's reply, "Very well, just wanted to make sure you knew that if you are trying to fly there are easier ways to go about it, but if this is how you wish to seek it have it your way."
After finishing her remark Druquilla makes her way back to Gintarou, "You check where we should be going yet? There is a crazy dwarf who thinks he can fly by making fake wings, sadly I feel he may be one of the saner people here."
"Same. The needle is pointing to the center of the spire. Means the stone is stored or no one notices it yet. Either way, we have to think of a way to get in there." Gintarou puts away the compass and faces Druquilla."The dwarf must have a death wish. But it may not be impossible. I have seen halfling ninjas using giant kites for scouting. I always wonder but never figure out how they landed.…Wait. Where is Mist?"
"I can't say the bigman has sent us to deal with your dwarf problem with a clear conscience." Mist leans in and puts one hand to the side of his mouth as he glances back to the group (where Aubric skulks about wordlessly) and loudly whispers, "Got me hands full with one of me own, if you know what I mean."
He winks and resumes his normal, boisterous volume. "However, if there's a reward to be had, I'm certain we could come to some sort of arrangement to rid you of your current... troubles. But for now, my companions and I must needs haste and away to find yon cosmic crag and spirit it away lest it might could interfere with your... uh... holy rites and whatnot! So if your sistership could direct us to the nearest stairs or other preferred means of corporeal ascension...?"
He lets his words trail off as he cocks an eyebrow and glances around the room and then back to Sister Selka inquiringly.
"To go higher the path continues past the temple. But with the late night, and we do have plenty of space, you might be wise to stay and wait with us here. As for a reward, of course I might be able to come up with something small if you aid us in this." Selka has a smile on her face, it does of course put Mist off, but not because you think she is up to something but more because you don't understand the devout followers of a religion.
"With any hope tying himself to a kite to attempt flight," Druquilla answers sarcastically. "But I think I saw him go inside with the sister that offered us help a moment ago. If he is not tying himself to a kite then I bet he is using that silver tongue of his, maybe he was able to get some useful information."
"Oi!" Mist interjects as he makes his way back to the group. "I was able to get some useful information outta Sister Selka of the Seven Seas over there. Don't be lookin' so surprised!" he says in feigned indignation at the reactions he gets. "Apparently part o' this here tower toppled over from beyond the clouds a few months back. Seems a fair guess it might've been caused by our baffling bolide. Says we'll need to press on further up the path to get where we're going but, as she points out, it's gettin' late and climbin' a bleedin' mountain in the dark isn't really my idea of a good time. What say we bed down with the pious paddlers and start out fresh first thing?"

While Dru is speaking to the dwarf Kraven will glance at his workshop and see what is lying around.

(DM, where the Golden Compass is pointing now? Gintarou checked it on my last post )
Anything particularly shiny or possibly a kit that is laying out or something.
Kraven will slowly move to get out of the eye sight of the dwarf and attempt to grab something small.
Stealth: 25
Sleight of Hand: 26
Sorry I forgot to respond to that. It is pointing to the center of the spire, and just like last time the needle is pulling up.

I would say he has more than one set of tinker tools, but he might notice they are missing, clearly he wouldn't notice you take them.

Kraven would prefer something that the dwarf not notice right away, a kit tucked away or as I said above, something shiny.
You could probably get a few scraps of metal. 7 copper's worth.
