“There is something strange going on here, of that I’m sure.”Komos says, and then yawns, adding, “But I am very tired and cannot wrap my head around it at the moment. Shall we reconvene in the morning?”
"A rest does seem like the right choice. I'm also not sure if I can get off this bed now that I've tried it. Good night, I don't want to hear a word until morning." He covers himself in blankets (if there are any, I'm not sure if you said there are or not but maybe it's not important) and turns away, assuming his subordinates will close the door after they leave the room.
Sniv gives a tired nod and exits the room. He doesn't have the energy to challenge Varn right now, so he just closes the door on the way out and heads into the middle room where he promptly closes the door and collapses onto the bed. Sniv is asleep within minutes of his head making contact with the pillow (assuming there is a pillow...).

((OOC: There are pillows and blankets. Also I am assuming each one of you have the key to their own rooms. It was a set of 3 keys that Varn used to unlock the 3 rooms so I'm assuming everyone took their own room key from the ring.))
You all drift off to sleep, the muffled winds howling from outside. You have an undisturbed and peaceful nights of rest.
Everyone got 38 XP
When you wake up the next morning, you have no idea what time it is. The rooms, though not as dark as they were in the previous night, is still quite dark as two of the rooms have no windows for outside light to enter through. There are however, ventilation holes in the wall. Sniv's room has ventilation holes facing the hallway of the tavern. Komos' room has holes facing the outside of the tavern. From those holes, he can see some dim light trickling into the room. It is obviously morning but from the small amount of light he can't tell what time it is. Varn who, had the room with the window, sees light coming from the cracks but he would have to open the window to get a better view of the outside.
Sniv stays curled up in the bed for a moment after waking up, but after letting out a yawn, he eventually climbs out of bed. Not quite sure how early it is, he wanders into the hallway and glances back and forth to see if Komos or Varn are awake yet. If not, he heads downstairs and pokes his head through the front door to get an approximation of what time it is.

When Sniv tries to get to the hallway, he finds the door strangely locked again. Trying the key does not unlock it. It is as if the key is the wrong key for the lock but that's not possible right? He unlocked the door with the same key last night. Did he accidentally take the wrong key?
Sniv takes his finger and pokes the door a few times curious as to how it managed to lock itself while he was asleep. He is pretty sure he took the right key to the room. Then why is the door still locked, he thinks to himself. Sniv frowns for a second confused by the situation before him, but resolves to solve the problem of getting out first, and then figure out how it managed to happen. With that he begins to look around the room to see if there is anything that could be used to break him out.
Komos tries to pick the lock and though he is unsuccessful, he notices something. At certain points the pick does not make the sounds it usually does as it taps the various parts of the lock. Moreover some parts of the lock feel soft and rubbery. The lock pick gets stuck in a bunch of places not like getting jammed in the gears but like being stuck against sticky tree sap. Finally when Komos realizes the lock isn't going to open and he pulls the pick out, he notices strange burn marks on the tool.
As Varn gets up, he walks over to the door to open it. (I assume it's also locked?) When the door won't open even with the key, he shouts so the other two can hear him: "Whichever of you locked the door, it is not funny! You better get it open before I lose my temper!" He then looks around the room for anything that can be used as a crowbar to help him open the door. He could use his magical powers, but he didn't want to set the place in a fire just yet.
Varn doesn't find anything in the room that might be of help. The barred window however, doesn't look locked and he might be able to use it to get out of the room.
Sniv takes a closer look at the ventilation holes and tries to do a mental size comparison. Does it look like he could fit through these holes if he were a flea?
He is a little too preoccupied with finding a way out that he doesn't hear Varn's shouts. Regardless, at this point, he isn't really thinking about the others and is more focused on getting himself out of this room.
“Hmmm... perhaps I am not alone in being stuck.” Komos thinks, hearing the muffled yelling from his friend. Perhaps he can smash the door handle and lock with his hammer to get out. He then proceeds to hit the handle with the hammer repeatedly hoping to loosen it up.
Sniv quickly peeks his eye through the ventilation holes, determining that they are big enough for him to fit through as a flea and so he concentrates and his form flickers again shifting into that of a fly and flying through the ventilation holes. Once he is on the other side of the door, he flies around a bit and looks to see if he notices either of the others. After flying the length of the inn and not finding either Komos or Varn, he returns outside rooms that they were staying in. Looking around the door he checks to see if there appear to be any fly sized entrances to the others' rooms.
@Sniv, there are similar ventilation holes in the other rooms through which you can pass through. While in the hall way, you can now hear Varn shouting and hear him clearly enough to understand what he is saying. The hall itself is dark though a bit brighter than last night thanks to a small amount of light pouring in from the cracks between the the wooden shutters of a window at the end of the hall.
Komos hits the lock a bunch of times. He dents it but doesn't break... at least not yet. The way it dented looked promising so he kept hammering away at it. Finally with a loud pop and clang, the locking mechism and the door handle flies off from the door, taking a chunk of wood with it. poking at the last bits of bent and exposed metal for a bit and then giving the door a push, it opens in to the hall.

Assuming Komos’ lock is the same, he’ll try to pick it ((12)), and... fail?... he sits on the floor pouting for a bit.

@Math: The ventilation holes are visible. If they required a Perception check to see, I would not have mentioned them as part of describing the room.

Yes, the holes are big enough for a flea to pass through them. The ventilation lead to the hall way on the other side of the door.
