Roland nods at Demalis and Twitch. "The Spellingg Bee isn't about spells, or spelling. It's a combat tournament hosted by the hero Minsc. I think he uses 'Spellingg Bee' as a pun of sorts. You were probably invited because you've both made names for yourselves as warriors. Anyone need food or anything?" 

Delmalis shrugs, "Could be worth looking in to."

Guhner approaches from the doorway with a big smile on his face. "I was invited as well and plan on competing. I think Lady Amcanthra will be there as well." 

Demalis an image flashes in your mind. 

Sybil tries to settle in for some rest but the noise from everyone the bar was too much. Muttering to herself, she peers out of the window into the evening sky. She tosses on her gear and bag heading down, throwing "I'll going to meet with someone. May be bring a job aback," at the housemates before heading to where Mirt would be at this time of day. 

Sybil, roll a d20.

Delmalis will head out with Twitch the next day to check out this tournament.

Sybil, given your dealings and what you've heard about him, he may be at the Yawning Portal visiting Durnan. 

For those who are doing things tomorrow, is there anything else you'd like to do tonight? 

Not coming up with anything for Delmalis.

Sybil makes her way to the infamous Yawning Portal. Getting pass the bouncer, she search the bar for her contact before dropping into the opposite seat, "So what's going to end the world today? And we you want to talk about in the open or something?"

Mirt nods as he sees Sybil approach. You both are in a quieter area of the Portal's lobby. There aren't any surrounding tables and he finishes his tankard. "I think we're fine in the open. Tell me, what do you know demiplanes and dread realms, specifically Barovia?"

"Not sure how much I know in the great scheme of knowledge but I like to think I know some. Dread realms, i rather not go to one if I can absolutely can avoid it just by name alone," Sybil replies, "Are you planning on an suici.... I mean exhibition into a dread realm or something similarly crazy?"

OOC: I know too much. 

Mirt shakes his head. "Actually, we think someone from the Dread Realms has come here. Some of the Harpers along the Sword Coast have talked about seeing a hut with chicken legs walking about. Apparently the owner is a witch who's been sending scarecrows to search through the graves of nobles.  

As for Rotthran, evening approaches. Did you want to go visit the Yawning Portal?

Meep spends the evening practicing his new spells in the library, occasionally coming downstairs to the bar for a drink and a nibble, usually with scorch marks on his sleeves. He plans to visit the Order in the morning to pick up his welcome packet and to ask about anything that needs doing.

AS soon as her drink, arrives, she downs quickly, "This seem to very much an national issue rather than a harper issue, especially if the witch is digging up nobles' graves. What exactly would you want us to do about it? We try to stop it or some other goal in mind? I ask because if this is what I think it is, we're going to probably need more firepower. I'll ask the housemates if they want to do this but I doubt they'll do it just for sake of some dead nobles,"

"True, your housemates might not just do it for the sake of nobles, or of Waterdeep," Mirt says. "But I'm sure they'll do it for the sake of one of your employees. Rumor has it, this witch is looking for someone who's died and returned to life. I believe someone in your employ had that happened to them. 

Sybil, you watch as Mirt's eyes turn yellow and Bill's voice comes out of his mouth," Like the druid, or paladin. Or paladruid."

Rotthran takes in the night and moves toward the Yawning Portal.
