Rotthran, you don't hear anything about the Xanathar on your way back to the Trollskull. You do see Roland and Jaina walking through the streets, past Xoblob's Shop, sharing a laugh and holding hands. As they continue, you see Xoblob, the eccentric deep gnome watch them for a moment before moving back inside and turning his sign Closed. There also appears to be a scarecrow that starts to follow them before a kenku walks next to it and pummels it before shouting "I hate scarecrows." 

If you go back into the inn, you'd see Sybil's note about a meeting.

Twitch would have seen it too, but they can't read it. Guhner would have read it to them if asked. 

Anything else anyone wants to do before we move onto the next day?

Rotthran walks over to the scarecrow and Kenku.

"Hey, no need for that! It could be kids under that costume...?" He offers a hand to the scarecrow, hoping it is just kids in a costume.

Rotthran, it's not just kids under a costume. The scarecrow falls over and reveals a skeleton underneath that crumbles under the touch. A voice echoes from the skull," What the f*****! I'm gonna get you, you feathery -"

The voices goes dead as if someone severed the communication. The kenku turns to you and says," no kids under that costume. I'd know." 

"My mistake... I am going to get drunk. Come along and we can talk about Scarecrow skeletons."

The kenku thinks about it for a moment and follows. "Getting drunk sounds good. I'm Mr. Fists." 

By now, Meep would have seen the note as well, and told Twitch about it, probably immediately after Guhner read it to them. Meep has spent the day in study, but is ready for whatever tomorrow brings.

Gathering the occupants of the house in the morning, "First personal business, my contact has put forth possible post of sercurity at the manor due to possible intrusion by Bill who continues to be annoying. Second, personal adjacent planar threat that may be knocking at our city's doors soon," She checks her notes, "Anyone with noble blood and returned from the graves are possible targets for this very dangerous planar being that's sending out scarecrows looking for something in noble graves and brought back to life are possible targets like our buddy Roland and other. My contact asked us to check it out but we're free to refuse,"

Twitch cocked their head to one side, "Anything same about graves looked at so far?"

"Beside they were graves of nobles? I dont know anything," Sybil replied, "They're just getting dug up by scarecrows made by a witch in a chicken footed hut, which I suspect is a major danger if who's I think it is,"

By this morning, everyone is coming in for their shifts. They wave to you all before starting work.

Roland and Brew are getting the bar ready as Guhner walks over and asks Roland if he can have time off for the tournament. Roland agrees before asking," What's a kenku doing back here?" Brew tells him "He came in last night to drink with Rotthran and wasn't fit to go home." 

"Let him rest," Roland says. 

Delmalis looks a mix of confused and concerned, "Only those who died all the way right? And what difference does noble blood make?"

"Just part of the mystery," Sybil remarks with a shrug. 

"Grave robbing? Extra-planar entities? Mystery? Count me in. I just need to go pick up my welcome packet at the Order, and maybe I can ask if anyone there has leads, hints, or clues. Otherwise, what's the plan? Wait until the scarecrows come for Roland?" Meep looks excited, and intrigued.

Delmalis shrugs, "It could be a plan, but probably not a good one. Though admittedly it might be better than chasing across half the coast looking for a rumor."

"I heard a rumour that a witch is looking for you, Roland," says Rotthran, digging into his breakfast.

Roland pauses for a moment before making a plate for breakfast. "A witch?" He stops for a moment, taking in what everyone else has said. "This seems intriguing and worrisome." 

Mr. Fists wakes up and begins eating the breakfast as he turns to Rotthran. "Told you it wasn't kids." 

Roland nods. "I've fought witches before but that was long ago back in my previous life. I've heard some raunchy rumors about witches from an old vampire friend Jackie D., but he tends to eroticize everything. What should I do? Stay here and wait for her?"

"If the facts lined up, it's probably better you stay here. A chicken legged house only has one witch name attach to it and it's a major name. The city got enough firepower I hope," Sybil mentions. 

"That is not only the problem, Xanathars are helping the witch track down a list of people. I assume they are trying to get the Witch's Favour and become powerful, the pathetic whelps," Rotthran nods at Mr. Fists. "Heard of animated objects following people? Our Kenku friend here attacked one of them last night."

Twitch is not overly excited about hunting scarecrows as they have no tasty bits attached.....but is happy to shadow Meep.

Roland nods and keeps quiet. 

Mr. Fists gives a proud puffing of the feathers as Brew serves the last of the drinks. "Scarecrow following people," Mr. Fists says. "They followed some others as well. I'm not a fan of scarecrows."
