Lussa and Demalis, between the two of you, you find some stools and a few tables that only need to be cleaned but can still be used. There's also six tablecloths in one of the closets that need to be washed. From the furniture that isn't salvageable, you can make about 16 pounds of firewood.
Lussawill take the firewood she has accumulated to the kitchen and pile it by the fireplace there, then look for broom, bucket and scrub brush to start making the taproom a bit more presentable, cleaning first the bar, then the floor to one side of the bar, then tables and stools to arrange in the cleaned section, continuing in a similar fashion around the room.

Meep waves good-bye to Sybil, and walks happily back to the Manor. Of the non-duergar he knows, he's known Delmalis the longest, but Meep is thrilled that he's making new friends. On the way back, he does a little shopping with his share, and buys enough trinkets and components to practice new spells with. (Spending 150 gold for the necessary items to copy three spells into his spellbook)
When he returns and hands out the rest of the earnings, he says "It really looks nice in here! Sybil said she was going out, and I am not supposed to burn the place down, so I'm going to go up to the study and see what's in there. If you need me, grab me, but I'll need about six hours, I think. OOh, what's this!?"He grabs a mug of coffee, drinks, and his eyes grow wide. "This will help!"
When he gets to the library/study, he'll work on copying Disguise Self, Shield, and Witch Bolt into his book. He'll donate 20 of his remaining gold to the house restoration fund.
It was almost lunch time when Twitch finally stirred from their pile of hay, it had been a long time since they'd slept somewhere where there wasn't an interruption every half hour or so.
Twitch headed downstairs through each floor finding Meep in the study.
Sybil, you make your way to Aurora's Emporium. I'll say you're able to find the type of clothes you're looking for at 2 gold pieces. Describe to me what you bought.
Sybil will buy a simple looking black dress without literal frills or lace, with white and green ascents around the waist and skirt. Sybil hates wearing such restrictive attire but the note said formal.

Alberich managed to find his way to the bedroom on the second floor last night. Out of the way, but about as close to the stairs back to ground level as the ones on the third floor. And thanks to some holes in the floor, he wakes up to the smell of fresh coffee.
Having gotten down and enjoying the elixir of the gods, he notices that people are gathering money to restore the manor. He adds in the 16gp, 82 sp and 250 cp that had been in the satchel, but for now decides to keep his share of 175gp from... what Floon had given them as thanks for saving him? He wasn't quite sure of the specifics. (The items having been turned into money before he woke up, and the note most likely lost already). He turns towards anyone still hanging in the taproom (I think that would be Lussa and Delmalis), and says: "My boss asked me to stop by, and wanted to meet some of my new friends too, if you're up for a walk." Thinking for a second, he continues with a question: "By the way, has anyone gone to Volo yet to finish the paperwork?"
Delmalis shrugs, "I can talk to Volo, and probably stop by the guilds to see what is involved in allowing us to open this place as a bar and getting supplied." As Twitch walks in asking about what he missed, "You missed volunteering to scrub the tavern and cellar floors. Try not to bother Meep too much."
As you discuss, you hear a rumbling outside. Whoever opens the door sees Volo, who breathes a sigh of relief. "Oh good, you're still here. I trust everything went well." Behind him is a laid-back, halfling with mutton chops and bushy eyebrows. Volo motions to the halfling. "This is Boxley Fairkettle. He is part of the Fellowship of Innkeepers in the city.
Boxley smiles. "It's good to see this place with life again. If you're wanting to get this place up and running, I'm the man you talk to. I can tell you it won't be cheap at first. 1,200 gold for renovations and 250 gold for guild contracts. That helps pay for expenses like alcohol and food contracts."
OOC: Those of you who plan to go onto missions let me know and we can get you started.

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
"Ah, Volothamp, good to see you. Delmalis here was just about to head out to look for you about that transfer of ownership. Yes, the place looks great, and the ghost is friendly. I can't believe I didn't remember the stories about Lim Half-Elven and the Trollskull Manor when I first heard the name of the place. He's still working behind the counter if you wanted to meet him", Alberich converses for a bit with Volo after opening the door.
After being introduced to Boxley, he turns to talk to them: "Alberich Ironfist, well met. The place really isn't in as bad a shape as a first look may seem, I'd say it only needs about a round thousand for the renovations. But we can talk more about it after we actually manage to gather enough money for it. Getting our hands on this place came as a bit of a surprise last night. Where can we find you when we do manage to gather enough?"
After the talking slows down, he states: "If there is nothing that needs to be done today, I was actually just about to head to the Blackstaff Tower with Lussa here."
Broxley nods. "Right. I'm sure you adventurers can find the means for the gold. When you have the funds, feel free to send a bird to the Blushing Mermaid. It's one of my inns.
Alberich, when you mention Lim, Volo's eyes widen and he goes to the counter. "Fascinating. Lim was it? How did you come by here?"
No response.
Volo shrugs and looks to Demalis. "Oh well, then I guess we can just sign the deed."
Alberich and Lussa
When you're ready, you make your way to Blackstaff Tower without incident, greeting fellow Force Grey officers and some Blackstaff apprentices. You meet Vajra as she sends away an apprentice. "Hello, Alberich." She bows to Lussa. "It's a delight to meet you, I'm Vajra the Blackstaff. Renaer told me about your rescue. Nice work. Alberich, this is a minor mission, but I need you to seek out Hlam, a monk who lives in a cave on the side of Mount Waterdeep. Ask him what he’s heard about threats to the city, but try not to annoy him or overstay your welcome. Come back to me with what you report. I'll pay you 50 gold for this task. ”

He nods and smiles happily at the mention of the rescue, and after getting the mission responds just with an "Of course", but continues on another matter: "If I could bother you for a second. Back on that rescue of ours, this was a foe we beat." He takes off the satchel he's carrying, and shows the dead Intellect Devourer within. "I'm not sure what it was, though I'm more interested in what seemed to be its master. Somewhat humanoid shaped and sized, had tentacles on its face, and teleported away as it saw us.
