"That's quite some time to be out here by yourself... What do you know of the area around here? We have been foraging what little we could find. You must do a pretty good job of hunting in these parts, how many do you have to feed?"
Andarel is trying to pay attention to the girl's answers, getting a read on how honest she is being.
"Ah. well you can have this for now," handing over his small enlightened pebble(5ft bright 5ft dim light. Magical Tinkering; the one Fuse lit to provide her aid), "It'll go out eventually though; might last a while though." Giving her a smile, "Did you not find a way to the surface, or a ...not drow.. place?"
More curious than suspicious now, and trusting Fuse and Andarel to be able to handle this elf if she tries any funny business, Zelk steps towards the river and summons a small quipper (OOC: Expending a usage of Wild Shape for Wild Companion) into the river. While the rest of the party is conversing with this woman, Zelk perceives through his familiar's senses to explore quietly upstream to see if it originates somewhere near the surface and might offer a passage back up.

Not interested in talking to the estranged moon elf anymore, and quite frankly not caring how the others handle her, Shio walks towards the back of the group, bandaging his own arm while keeping an eye behind them.
"Just myself. There's not much except this river nearby, but the fish are fair, if a bit bland. (To Fuse) Thank you, but your group could use it more, after all I have darkvision and I would guess not all of you do."
As far as you can tell, she's being honest.
Zelk:
After several minutes, it reaches a small tunnel it can pass through, but no humanoid could.
Haivern listened to this Moon Elf speaking and of the other members of his party speaking to them. He didn't have that paranoia about the moon elf attacking them any more and he even found himself having a bit of curiosity when it came to them. Though he lacked the mind to put any questions to words.Haivern decided to head to the rear of the group as he didn't have much to say to the elf, he moved to the rear of the group. "Your arm holding up alright?" Haivern asked Shio as he went to join them. He'd almost forgotten about the way the elf had made themselves known.
Shio looks at Haivern, "only a scratch." He says. He finishes bandaging up the arm, glad that at least they got the moon elf back in that regard. He and Haivern station at the rear of the group waiting for others to finish handling her, meanwhile he says to Haivern, "I was hoping that we wouldn't become a roving shelter, taking in every homeless stray we encounter along the way. As big of a group as we are is already eye-catching enough. At least she may prove herself useful."
"Sandiel, we are making our way to a Kuo-Toa settlement, and cannot tarry further. If you have been here for a number of months, I'd suggest keeping your head down for the time being. Unless there is anything useful you can tell us to aid our travels, we will bid you farewell." Andarel looks back to the others, and suggests that they carry on moving.
"Can anyone cover our tracks in this area, or make it look like we veered off elsewhere? The river might give us a chance to buy time against any pursuit..."
"I can make more; though they only last so long. Are you alone down here that whole time? We're hoping to find a way back. but you've been stuck for weeks?" looking to his allies as Fuse is unsure what they're doing right now; moving on is likely a good plan he feels; but is unsure what to do concerning their guest. Fuse tries to gauge his cohort's facial expressions.
(Fuse sees no reason not to invite this one if we're going at this point. but likely carefully as it feels odd to him she's still free and safe after weeks alone here after escaping. But doesn't feel like walking off is a good thing to do )
Haivern gave a nod as Shio gave him the status of their wound, good to hear. He kept looking at the group with the elf while he listened to Shio speak about his thoughts on what they should do about the elf. "I understand where you're coming from, I'm still not certain my thoughts on our... New acquaintance." Haivern said. If he remembered correctly there hadn't yet been a decision on whether or not the Moon Elf was going to stick with him. Haivern was honestly half surprised that the first thing they'd run into after escaping from the drow had been friendly. Well, mostly seemingly friendly. Haivern thought to himself, glancing at Shio's bandaged arm.
Zelk retreats his vision from his familiar and dismisses it. With a sigh, he turns back to the group informing them that the river, unfortunately, doesn't hold an exit to the surface as he had hoped. Seeing the others ready to move on, he responds to Andarel's question, "Nothing specifically to cover tracks, although the river should mask our trail relatively well." Backing up to the back of the group and turning to the pair that is discussing taking in the elf, Zelk offers his opinion on the potential new addition to the group, "As Shio said, we are already large enough that one extra person is unlikely to make a difference and she may prove herself useful. Worst case scenario we can drop her off at the settlement and move on alone."
(OOC: The familiar will still be available for another hour, but it's just in a pocket dimension right now.)

"I'm with you there, I have mixed feelings as well." Shio says to Haivern.
"Well," Shio smiles, "maybe she won't even be interested in joining us in the first place. Why offer when she gives no inclination?" He nods to Zelk and pointing his chin at the moon elf, at least it seemed like Andarel was ready to move on. He takes her suggestion and tries to cover up their tracks using dirt and leaves.
If the rest of the group is ready, Zelk heads back up to the conversation with the Moon Elf and says, "Maybe wait to see who you are attacking before you throw your weapon next time is the only advice that I have." Turning to Andarel and the others he says, "Ready to move on?"

Seeing no answer forthcoming from the elf, Andarel turns to Zelk, "Let's. I think we have tarried in this cavern perhaps a little too long, and a faster pace may suit our progress a little better." She calls to Haivern and Shio, "We seem to have all spun round a ways, are you two happy to take some rear guard duty for a while and avoid any random daggers from the darkness for a little while? Zelk and Fuse can take a lead."
Bidding farewell to Sandiel with a wave, Andarel ushers the twins and stool to move onwards and resumes her place in the column as resumes its trek through the darkness. This time Andarel urges for a little more pace to make back some of the travel time lost by the encounter. After all, they had no idea if there was any pursuit from the Drow yet, and the sooner they got to Sloobludop the sooner they could start to make longer term plans for their escape from this place.
(OoC - not knowing the layout of the area they are in, I assume there is just one other exit, if there are options then le't pick a random one and just move onwards. I'd say reverse the marching order, sinc it was pretty balanced both ways, but if anyone else would rather stay as it was, then it's fine.)
"I've got no problem bringing up the rear." Haivern said, stretching his limbs slightly as he got up and waited for the others to move before following at a generally relaxed pace after that. Honestly glad to be moving again, he had never really been a man for standing around, especially when they were trapped in the dangerous underdark where hypothetically any manner of nightmare could leap from the shadows. Just the thought of that made him grip the crossbow a little bit tighter.
(If I can help Shio with the Survival check I will, just not sure if I should roll or just give them advantage).

(Sounds like we're just gonna move on then? I'll have to add a post later today then. Need to figure out how Fuse would state his thoughts here)
(Either or standing is fine with Fuse; he has no dark vision though, nor great melee abilities. He's fine with either ultimately)
Luriel moves to the middle of the group as before.
Zelk nods and takes the lead as they cross the river and continue onwards to the city of Sloobludop.
