Whispering, Zelk conveys the information to the group, "There is a card game happening in there. I'm not sure that it would be wise to take them on without a majority of our equipment, but perhaps the other door?" With that, he gives himself another round of guidance before pressing his ear to the other door to check for sounds.
"I'm not a fan of being stuck between two groups of the drow when it matters and we don't know what is ahead... How they can be playing cards at a time like this though. No, it might not be the best but we stand a good chance of catching them by surprise and we can probably overwhelm them."
"Speaking of..." Looking around and making sure they are safe for the moment, Shio takes a hand crossbow off the shelf and hands to the other human, he opens his palm, and lying there a single bolt dipped with drow poison. He has been holding onto the bolt since his capture, and not even sure if the poison is still viable anymore - but better than nothing, he thought. "You are good with bows, right?" He asks Haivern.
Haivern followed the group mostly being quiet though trying to keep an eye on things to keep from them being snuck up on while staying quick on his feet to keep up. Once they were inside he found himself trying to stay a little closer to the door to hear anything coming from the outside such as a group of Drow moving in. When they began to speak about which way they should go he himself wasn't sure. The idea of facing down Drow wasn't quite a welcome one. "If we attack we risk alerting any nearby Drow whether or not we win, which is generally something we want to avoid if possible, right?" Haivern said trying to give his two cents on the situation. When he was given the weapon by Shio he nodded in thanks, looking at the weapon which seemed to be coated in something. "I have experience in shooting yes" he said looking over the weapon. Not quite the bow he was used to but it most likely used the same sort of principles.
(at the Mosquito monster eating the orc) Slips and slides trying to stop just as he started towards the bridge and has to stop and breath deep for a moment "Flyers knew it. knew it. dammit. fish. barrel.. dammit." before settling in remembering he was trying to help some folks who needed protection and heading forward with the others to the Armoury.
Letting others gear up first; taking an inventory of the gear with a sigh, "I'm so bad at these, I wish I had my tools. If we come across them I'll be more useful. Or if I could get to my Alchemy weapon..." settling up and donning a Chain shirt, a shield, while taking some weapons as well. "I'm not very good with these... but there is no reason not to take them; its less weapons for the Drow, harder fight, longer for them to follow. We could toss what we dont' take over the ledge..." while setting away 1hand crossbow, 1 short sword, and 2 daggers on him.
(I don't suppose there are any bags or quivers and bolts? If so, Fuse will take some of those as well; more to prevent the drow but also in case someone uses them, better to take what we can now.)
While Zelk checks the areas, Fuse will look for any tools or supplies he can use, that they missed. Investigation hoping someone left some tools somewhere or a note about other supply areas, or map15
"Think that is the armoury watch down there? or extra storage.. what they took from us could be there..I don't envy crossing the bridge again. Easy to fall... or be taken."
Zelk nods at Fuse's analysis and considers what both Haviern and Andarel are saying about whether or not to take on the drow and pitches his two cents worth, "Normally I would agree with Haviern. The risk of alerting other guards is too great. Unfortunately, we are also running blind here, and without our equipment, a little bit of bad luck and running into a group of guards is all it would take to stop our escape attempt in its tracks. That means we need some information about where our gear is at, and taking these guards might be our best chance at getting some information. The question is, do we think we can take them out without alerting the other guards?" He spends a moment drawing upon some more guidance as it is one of the few things that he can still do without his equipment.
(OOC: Would we have any idea about the guard's capabilities on average? Or are we completely clueless? Also, do we have any idea where our equipment is?)

"Yeah," Shio laughs faintly, "I don't think drawing attention to ourselves would be a good idea. Are we going to risk bringing the whole prison down on us just for the chance of these three drows may know where our gear is? Our gear could already be sold, trashed, or stolen for all we know. It also means not only we need to fight them, we also need to capture one for questioning, all while avoiding being caught. Besides, equipment can be reforged, we can gather new ones, I don't know about you, but I don't have any gear that's worth risking my life over."
Zelk sighs as Shio makes his point and although he recognizes the worth of what the human is saying, he longs for his staff. After a moment of thinking, he comes to the conclusion that he might be able to fashion a new one if they made it up to the surface, but escaping without his staff would mean he would be next to useless if they got into a fight down here. When he opens his mouth though, he expresses none of his misgivings and simply says, "Shio is right. I'm not sure that we could capture one of the drow and it would be better to make a run for it while we still have the element of surprise." Seeing almost everyone else collect whatever gear they need, Zelk will wait for Luriel to collect any equipment she needs before he leads the group on to the exit away from the prison cell and towards the priestess's tower, hoping that if they continue on, they will eventually come to an exit.

With a sigh and a shrug, Fuse must agree "Well I have things worth a lot, but its not with what they took at least.. I'll be able to swing a dagger and work a shield not sure what else. We'll have to take fights smart. I don't know if we should head towards the priestess tower... Wouldn't that be the most dangerous place?"
Not liking the idea of moving on without knowing what was the other side of teh trapdoor, Andarel consider's Shiro's points, though 'the whole prison' probably have more immediate concerns with the bugs and demons flying around, only a couple of her spells would be affected if their gear was down there, and the risk was high against only a possible upside. Unhappy about it but seeing the sense behind leaving the oblivious drow alone, she returns her attention to the ongoing conversation.
"Would you rather risk a drow priestess or stand on a bridge with those mosquito creatures flying around? I don't think we have any good options here, we just have to make a decision, commit to it, and worry about anything else after we're out of here. Though if we re leaving those drow behind us, can we at least try to block the trapdoor with something? So... does anyone know an actual way out of this place?"Andarel looks over some of the others, the armor seems too large for the twins, and clearly won't fit Stool. Hopefully the other adults are able to suitably arm themselves. If there are any remaining shortswords or daggers then Andarel will try to stow them somewhere...
Rolling (12) to try and find a backpack or straps that will allow her to carry extras (like the armor that she hasn't put on yet), and items suitable to barricade the trapdoor. Investigation: +4, let me know if it is anything else or you need separate rolls.
Luriel finds 6 backpacks. There are 14 of you total, choose who gets one wisely. 5 daggers and 4 shortswords remain. You could move armor stands onto the door.
Zelk shakes his head. "I don't know how to get out, but I'm hoping that if we keep moving in one direction, we will eventually make it out. Unless someone else knows?" He looks at the other prisoners, thinking maybe one of them has a better idea of how to get out.

Eldeth suggests, "Why don't we just jump over the edge down to the pool? Sure it's dirty, but it's better than spending the rest of yer life a prisoner of the drow."
Zelk glances down at the pool. Jumping down would mean they give up all hope of getting their equipment back, but it might be their best chance at survival. He looks a little closer in the pool to see if there are any potential dangers (spiked rocks, creatures, etc.) in the water that could pose a threat to them.
Perception Check came up funny, so I am rolling it in a new post.
Slinging on a backpack to help carry supplies for the others, "At this point take everything and lets make a choice; I won't choose but I won't complain what comes of it." Well, we'll have to do what we can. but I'd be surprised if there weren't creatures in the muck."

Zelk: Studded Leather, Shield, 2 daggers Andarel: Shord Sword, carrying studded leather, bolts, 1 cross bow Shio: studded leather armour,2 daggers. Shio gave a Handcross bow to "the other human" with a Drow Poison Dart. I dont know who this "other human" is as we have several. Might have been Haivern? Haivern: Did not state they grabbed anything but replyed to Shio about the handcrossbow Fuse: Chain shirt, Shield, 2 daggers, 1 hand crossbow, 1 short sword, Bolts.
Andarel wanted to snag any extra shortswords or daggers; at this time 5 daggers 4 shortswords.
6 backpacks; which I assume is one of each of us.
Of note: two of us grabbed bolts; but unsure how many we could potentially snag. Off hand I'd assume 1 quiver of 20 per crossbow exists though,

Beyond the door is outside again.
Sharing that information with the party, Zelk asks, "Which way? I say we get our equipment first, but I'm not sure which way that's going to be."
