Zelkaen slips while looking over the edge of the bridge. Luckily, his reflexes are quick enough, and he now hangs by his hands off the side of the bridge.
Zelk gives a yelp of surprise as he tumbles down and grabs the edge. He struggles for a second and then attempts to pull himself back up onto the bridge.
(OOC, I would remove your starting equipment from your sheet, since I don't think the party's going to go recover gear, especially now that you've fallen.)
As Zelk reaches the webs, he is able to angle himself so he tears through them without becoming stuck, and safely lands in the water, 100 feet below the party. (Of course, the party doesn't know if he hit the water, but those with darkvision did see him hit the webs.)
While Zelk checks the areas, Fuse will look for any tools or supplies he can use, that they missed. Investigation hoping someone left some tools somewhere or a note about other supply areas, or map15
(Red likely would've opened those during an investigation trying to find notes, or other supply areas, or tool kits. earlier when others were checking the trapdoor)
Inside the cabinets are 6 bags of caltrops, 4 100-foot long coils of silk rope, and 2 bags of iron spikes.. In addition, there is a gleaming, obviously magical longsword, Fuse's alchemical blaster, a set of alchemist's tools, Andarel's spellbook, a crystal obviously carved to harness magic, and a druidic staff.
(OoC, I was the same, missed the reference to cabinets but did search for backpacks, so yeah it was not specified but implied. thanks for the prompts DM, would have been sad to miss all that stuff.)
Finishing his search, and finding so many tools and items, just as Zelk takes a fall "Ah! We found some of our stuff guys." Seeing (or hearing?) Zelk's tumble, pulling out lengths of ropes and spikes, while stiffling a call out-not wanting to alert the downstairs drow "Crap, think he's okay? He didn't get attacked by a bug right? We've got some rope, if we still want to go the water way, we can tie off and go after Zelk; if he's alive, and slink away in the water." Quickly adjusting and carring for his set up while he lets the others decide; but now that they've got their gear, a water dive might be more preferable to deamons or a drow queen.
Shio picks up his crystal - familiar with its weight, shape and carving on the side, he carefully places it in the inner pockets of his tunic under the studded leather. He nods at Fuse’s suggestion and quickly gathers the ropes too, stepping outside the armory and starts typing the rope around his waist. “Take this end, okay? I’m going down to find Zelk.” He also looks around for any tree stumps to secure the other end of the rope on - before carefully trying to climb down where Zelk fell.
“Andriel,” he whispers to her, keeping his voice down, pointing to his ear, “can you try to do the message thing again?“
Haivern found himself taking two cases of bolts. (If they're still there honestly not sure) before following everyone else out, intending to sort of take up the middle of the party closer to the back. To keep his eyes and ears out for any threats that may go for the back end of the group. That was until of course he saw the dwarf, Zelk take a tumble off the side of the bridge and fall down into what the human could only see as an abyss. "Did he make it?" Haivern asked, trying to carefully peek where the dwarf had disappeared. "Well I personally don't fancy leaving anyone behind if at all possible. Can't see a damn thing, so I'm not sure" Haivern said in response to what Fuse had said, readying the crossbow in hand just in case they were attacked while they spoke.
Taking the other side of the rope from Shio, Fuse will help it anchor around a standing solid item (Doube a tree stump. but part of the bridge, or something) by wrapping it around the object, then himself, planting it solid against it. To anchor, and to pull if need be. "We pulling him up, or are we wanting to go down and try the water escape? You were right earlier; the water is probably safer than the priestess or deamons-We'll also leave less of a track." nodding to haivern to watch his back. Fuse shaking slight, scared, overwhelmed, but the alchemical weapons, his tool kit, and hope back in him. He plants himself hard to help.
(Standard anchor technique like you use for climbing or fire dept uses for anchor-hold escapes in bad situations)
(This was the water we were talking about jumping off into to escape without leaving a trail after all. If you and or npcs want to climb down. Fuse can be the anchor and he'll follow up after the kids at least are safely climbed down; or he'll take the kids with him. Fuse can get down in a hurry safely if need be, or catch the kids if need be.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Shio thinks about the options, "I'm just going down to see if Zelk is alright - but if it is safe down there, I'll give a signal so everyone else can come down too." Shio says. He feels a little bad for the scared young man in front him trying to act tough - he is just a kid, after all. Shio gives Fuse a faint, not-so-pretty smile and continues, "how about I will pull twice for 'pull me up', and three times for 'it's safe to come down'?"
Assuming the rope is tightly secured, Shio will carefully start to descend down. He will keep an eye on where Zelk went. He has devil's sight, 120 feet range, if it helps.
Once you're about 20 feet down, you can see him. He's safe, if mostly submerged in the water. You'll have to all go through the web, but those who are casters can try to burn away the web around the robe.

You hold on but do not manage to pull yourself back up. Try again.
Zelk struggles as he holds on by his fingertips and pulls with all his might in an attempt to pull himself up.

Exhausted by the last attempt, Zelk's fingers slip as he tries again. Everyone else can only watch as he tumbles to the web.
Make another Dex Save, Zelk.

Luriel looks through the rest of the equipment in the drow armory, taking with her as much as she can carry.
(OOC: What equipment would that be?)
(Is anyone going to open the cabinets?)
(totally missed that bit when I was playing catch up while sick but I did ask to investigate the area, which likely would have involved opening them)
