"Hey Zelk," Shio will lower his voice and try to call out to Zelk - if he is still conscious. Shio will keep climbing down through the web and try to cut away the web using his dagger. Once he reaches where Zelk is, he will move close and see if he's hurt or not.
Zelk had landed in the water with an unceremonious splash, and he was very displeased with his new predicament. Picking himself out of the pool, Zelk glanced around the water and looked up at where he was sure the rest of the prisoners had abandoned him. He sighed at his misfortune and began to trudge in one direction when he heard Shio's voice call out to him. Stunned that someone would come down for him and even more stunned that someone had managed to make it down without slamming into the water. Calling back, Zelk says, "Hey! I'm down here! I'm fine, the webs seem to have broken my fall." Taking a closer look he sees Shio dangling from the rope and cutting his way down. Zelk runs under where the scarred human is hanging and also begins to cut away at the webs with his dagger. "Are the others okay?"
(OOC: Has Zelk had a chance to look around down here? Are there any exits immediately visible?)

"That's good enough for me." Shio says, trying to pat away any web that got stuck to him. He jumps down and pulls the rope three times like the signal they agreed on to let them know it's safe to come down. He wades through the pool and looking around, "Everyone is okay, for now. We found some more stuff, there is one staff I believe is yours."
Andarel's relief as Fuse acknowledges the tugs on the rope is plainly visible. The dwarf had been cool under the pressure and was certainly a handy comrade to have down here. She gathers up her spellbook, greatful that it is still in one piece and none of the pages missing; packing the armor and spellbook into the backpack and securing it as best she can ahead of her climb, she then starts to share out the remaining arsenal between those making the descent.
"If it's safe, lets share out as much of this gear as we can manage and all work our way down the rope. Eldeth, can you help me block this trapdoor up with the armor stands. I definitely don't want those drow appearing whilst we are hanging on a rope! Can someone cary Stool down? Any volunteers to be the last down? Fuse, if we can tie the rope off before the last of us, I'll try and burn it from the bottom to deter following, we might even get lucky and they think we just fell to our deaths down here and never investigate..."
Eldeth helps Andarel move a couple armor stands onto the trapdoor. The noise alerts the drow inside, and they bang helplessly against the unmoving door. Everyone gets 316 xp.
Zelk uses his dagger to continue cutting away at the webs when he feels a surge of natural power and he looks down at his hands in surprise. With a smile he keeps on cutting to help his allies reach the ground and escape. Once everyone has reached the water safely he asks, "Shio said you all may have found my staff?"

Now with her precious longsword, Luriel is about to climb down the rope to the pool below. "I'll try to carry Stool down with me,"she says. Luriel looks at Stool, trying to figure out how heavy he is and if she could carry him.

"I'll take up the rear" Haivern offered when the question was asked who was going last. He would take a dagger from the armory as well just in case(Again assuming there's one left). He tried to help where possible and didn't take the loaded crossbow from his hands just in case, he noticed Luriel looking at the mushroom after offering to carry them down and scanned wherever he could see nearby to make sure there wasn't anything nearby, though he did silently will them to hurry.
(Not sure I should make a perception check for that but I will anyway just in case. Perception: 23
Feeling comfier with the concept, Andarel takes a moment to don the leather armor now, realising that she has no idea whether she will get chance once they get down the rope. She straps an extra short sword on too. The weight and balance were different to her rapier but she knew she would have to adjust on the fly, as her life quite clearly would depend on it.
As the grow start banging on the trapdoor from below, Andarel tries to usher everyone down the rope as quickly as they can manage to join Shiro and Zelk. Thanking Luriel for taking Stool, and Haviern for staying til last. She gets the twins climbing down, encouraging them as they start off the edge, "We definitely don't want to be here if they get out... Our attempts to not be noticed are done for. Quickly now, everyone down that rope and try to keep an eye out for bugs!" With only Haviern and Fuse left up top, Andarel descends the rope and waits eagerly at the bottom.
Takes a deep breath and looks to Haivern, "No, I've got a trick to get town with the rope; do me a favor and roll this near the door that leads the other way in the armoury. With luck, they'll think we went that way. While you do that, I'll cut this bridge too; Make life hard on them. Then climb down; or you can jump with me. " Holding out one caltrop, and the rest of the bag of caltrop; one he'd taken a moment to dip in a solution from this alchemy kit. It now softly glowed as a small etching appeared on the side. Both Haivern and Fuse can hear what sounds to be foot steps echoing softly.
Once Haivern does that, Fuse gestures him to climb down, then unties the rope, and leaps off the edge, holding a vial and crushing it shortly before impact-a large foam encasing him, buffeting by air causing him to float down at a steady speed as the impact foam dissolves shortly after landing. (If Haivern does not, Fuse will explain his plan, and they both jump. Fuse tossing an impact foam at him as well; as they both land gently on the water) (We take the rope with us) (Bridge is also cut unless Haivern advises not to; Fuse would listen to the far more experienced)
(My intention is to toss it near the door that we did not go through, that leads to an "outside" that is not where we are. The caltrops will make it look like we're covering our tracks; and the singlular one will sound like echoing foot steps to those who are close enough) (Magical TInkering: The object continuously emits your choice of an odor or a nonverbal sound (wind, waves, chirping, or the like). The chosen phenomenon is perceivable up to 10 feet away.)
As Fuse and Haviern round out the group coming to the bottom of the cavern, Zelk raises his eyebrows and repeats his question, "Shio mentioned that you found our equipment shortly after my tumble? Does anybody have my staff?" He also points three exits out to the group and asks, "There are a few different ways out. Anybody got any ideas which way to go?"

While he is down in the pool and waiting for everyone else to climb down, Shio will cast disguise self. With the illusion taking effect, he will disguise himself as one of the drow guards. Dark skin, grey eyes, pointy ears, stark white hair brushed back, revealing a chiseled elven face. He will try to imitate the appearance of one of the drow guards he is familiar with - he has been in prison for 15 days, and he should be familiar with some of them, their features, demeanours, knowing their names too would help with his disguise.
(He has some weight too since he was captured - not that he was particularly well-built to begin with; that'd make mimicking drows' wiry figures easier.)
In case they were caught somehow, Shio could make up something in lines of he was chasing behind the fugitives.
He also takes a look at all three exits, and tries to see what lies beyond each of them.

Andarel is visibly relieved to see Fuse land safely, and everyone gathered safely on the ground 100ft below the nightmare that had been their lives for what seemed an eternity, rather than a mere week in her case. She was shocked at how much she had changed in that time, seen a side to herself she hadn't realised existied, and she felt stronger for it. The urgency to escape and the need for action was wearing off and Andarel realised that once again, she had enjoyed that feeling, that rush. This was most disconcerting, but it was also something to ponder over another time. For now there were decisions to be made and no time to debate the merits of each.
Andarel looks at Buppido, Jimjar and Shuushar as she speaks, "Each of you want to get home, or to a place as familiar to you as possible. We all do, especially those of us who aren't from the Underdark. We cannot travel in all three directions, and splitting up seems like a bad idea to me. I suggest we put it to a quick vote and go with majority rule, we all travel together and try to find safety and food as soon as possible. Stool where is your grove closest to? From here, do you each have a guess of how long it will take to reach those settlements? That could factor heavily if one is a lot closer."
Andarel tries to recall if she has read anything of the cities mentioned, and would have any historical knowledge that would be helpful to the group (History: 19) and shares whatever she might know.
Sloobludop is by far the closest, at 8 days away. The others are 28+ days away. Stool doesn't know where the grove is. The only city you've heard of is Blingdenstone, which was near obliterated by the drow years ago.

Landing, with the rope, the clattering of the cut bridge behind "So, not terribly loud, but not quiet." Drawing up mid conversation, and in a bit of a high from leaping from a tall area. "Uh, also should choose fast. That noise might attract more-and this pit will echo us. I don't want to attrack the mosquito thing that got Ront to come..Think he's down here too? I can't see well without light.. but that seems like a bad idea."
Taking a moment and looking for Ront's body, but not leaving the group. "I don't suppose any of those choices have ties to the surface-or at least won't kick our butts?" Fuse sheepishly asks. (I would rather "help" somoeone else and give them advantage on looking; as I'm having light issues. but if no one else looks I'll roll in the spoiler. For GM only)
17 perc; for Ront

Buppido urges you to take the south passage to the duergar city of Gracklstugh.
Jimjar suggests you take the north passage to the city of Blingdenstone.
Shuushar suggests you take the passage to the west and go to the Kuo-Toa city of Sloobludop.
Stool just says "I wanna go home! My sovereign in Neverlight Grove is wise. He will shelter you. Let's Go!"
