"That's a bad luck brother. I think you're a priest of Seldarine, right? I am Mialee Raethran, a druid of High Forest. Me and my friend Mihris received messages from our deities and came to aid the north. And there is one priestess of Morninglord named Mithann who stays with the caravan. She is carrying some important material that might get rid of this depressing endless night. Our gods really put a lot of effort into saving this land, don't they?"
The prisoner comes out of the wooden cell after Mihris is handed the key by the cultists, walking on frail steps but displaying a hopeful smile, "Ah, that's wonderful, Lady Mialee." he nods respectfully at you, then Mihris, "Lady Mihris. Yes, Bandages became a follower of Labelas Enoreth after the elves of Evereska took him in and saved his family from disease." he lets his eyes wander towards the cultists, souring his face "Though our deities try, I don't know if this land might be blighted beyond their grasp. We must try nonetheless, and I am very grateful that you arrived."
"Tell us more about these masters. And I wouldn't keep anything from us, otherwise, after I am done with you, you might wish you had been sent to Revel's End."
The cultist touched by the spectral black hand winces and shivers, shying his face away from the touch and closing his eyes in fear, "Listen! I've just said, we're conscripts, we don't get told the full story, all right? I'm from Caer-Dineval, got in here just about a month ago, all that Fralcen kept saying is the masters were coming with the caravan from the south."
Mihris nodded to Bandages words. "I have to admit, this is my thought as well now. From what we learned, the towns are praying publicly to the Frostmaiden, embracing sacrificial rituals. But as you said, we should still try and will be glad if you join us. That is if you feel you have strength to do so. We intend to search these caverns and you can wait for our return here or outside?"
Mihris looked at others "What do we do about the prisoners here? Lock in the cage until our return?"
Vanys holds up a finger to Mihris and replies, "I am going to ask them a few more questions first, we can decide what to do with them depending on the answer."
Turning back to the cultists he asks through gritted teeth, "Fralcen?"

"Yeah. There is a limit even to the power of gods. That's why we are here. The great ones are counting on us!" Mia says proudly. "Van, don't play with bad boys too long. We can just crum them into the cell as Miri said. Remember that we still need to catch up with Gerard and Ionna. They might get injured." The little Elf quickly looks around the room to see if there is something interesting. Then she will go to the wolf and mend it's wound while being careful about not to provok the beast and get bitten.

Ignoring the theological discussion, leaving it to those who know or are vested, Red chirps in more with Vanys. "Have you lot been sending pigeons to the caravan as well? Or talking goats."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The cultist shakes his head, answering Vanys: "Fralcen is who gathered us up back in the Towns, he answers to the masters too. Haven't had any news, just earned the cloth and was told to wait 'til the masters got here. The great sacrifice was also supposed to be our initiation."
Bandages sighs, "Bandages prefers to wait outside, seen enough of this cave from the inside. Would rather see the stars for a change, if you understand..." he approaches Red and looks at the slash caused by one of the fallen cultists, "But, even weakened, Bandages may be of some help." he touches your shoulder and a wave of divine energy washes over you. And with a satisfied smile, he moves over to the tunnel where Mialee is trying rather clumsily to care for the wolf, "The way out is... clear?"
Silver-grey cheeks Mihris blushed with embarrassment - her companion was wounded and she did not even bother to check! "Thank you,"wholeheartedly said she to Bandages. "We all understand what you went through. The path should be clear but still be careful outside alone."
She did not interfere with interrogation but was agree with Mia that it's probably time to move.
Spinning his arm in thne socket, checking the roation and pain from movement, "Thank you" Red gratefully replies to the healing powers. "Was clear as far as we know; but we were in chase. We don't know if there were more. Were you captured nearby? Any information on what else is in here is useful."
(ooc; believe that heals all my damage since the great AOE restrain did a lot of good work)
"…Oh!" Mia blinks her eyes. "Ah…" She looks at the wolf then at her hands. "Hmm… Puppy, you looks much warmer now! Take care!" The little Elf hurries back to the room and says. "Guys! Did you ask the bad boys that if they have seen someone passed here and went into…Red? You looks quite well for a man who got hit by scimitar. What happened?"
"Did you ask the bad boys that if they have seen someone passed here and went into…"
"Fralcen came through the entrance some hour or less ago. By the commotion he had someone else with him, but we've been punished from leaving the post before, and we have..." he nods towards the goblin on the floor, "had visitors from the Wolf Regheds."
"Thank you,"wholeheartedly said she to Bandages. "We all understand what you went through. The path should be clear but still be careful outside alone."
"Captured all the way back in Lonelywood. Maybe Bandages was too nosy into the Maiden's business. A lesson learned, yes." the tabaxi nods before leaving through the tunnell, "Bandages will be careful outside... waiting for you. The Strength of Corellon, the Beauty of Hannalli, the Joy of Aerali." he bows lightly and leaves.
Vanys growls quietly when the others say it is time to move. He doesn't mind staying here and asking a few more questions, but he trusts the judgement of the priestess and the druid more than he would let anyone know, so he just nods and says, "They have been useful enough. Let's tie them up and we'll deliver them to Revel's End once we are done here." Internally, he thinks that it might just be easier just to end them instead of trying to cart them to wherever Revel's End happens to be, but knowing the dispositions of Mia and Mihris, he decides against proposing that. As the tabaxi leaves, and Vanys finishes tying the cultists up, Vanys steps back outside and points ahead towards the large open chamber. Describing it again, he reminds everyone that the blood drops headed northwest exit, and the ritualistic powders went to the southeast.
(OOC: Not sure how much rope it would take to bind the two of them, but let me know and I can subtract it from my inventory.)

"Our captive said thankyou. Magic is quite a conveinient thing isn't it?.. but I think it is indeed time to continue in. TO the hall, or to this door?" Red answers and inquires in turn.
While the deliberations on route occur Red does a quick check of the room-hoping maybe there was the letter they saw sent from the Caravan.
Investigation for something useful as we haven't checked this room. 7
As the two cultists are pushed into the wooden cell by Vanys, Red looks around the chamber and finds rags spread around it—used as seats by the cultists—some odd personal belongings scattered around—carved stone and wood figurines of owls and people—and halfway eaten bits of bread and ceramic bottles of water and stale wine. Frayed lengths of rope are also present and some discarded or broken wooden beams, probably taken from around the cave complex in order to build the prison cell.
A single candle burns lighting the room, attached to the central natural stone column, and the door to the northeast is built similarly to the one you came in, and through the gaps between its boards, you can see what seems to be the darkness of that same large and open-ceiling central chamber that the other tunnel leads to.
After the cultists are locked up, and as Mia is asking them questions, Vanys points to the northeast door and says, "That's the chamber that the other passage leads to as well. Once we are in there, I think we should follow the blood. Gerard and Ionna might need our help and the blood suggests that at least one of them is already injured." With that, he will wait for Mia to finish asking her questions before leading the group onwards into the large chamber.

"Take care of yourself, brother Bandage! Keep warm! And don't drink the water of the river! The reason is… well you will take it at a glance." Mia waves her hand as she sees the Tabaxi priest off. Then she heads to the cell, looks into the eyes of the prisoners and asks. "There are two, no three questions, I want you to answer. If you cooperate well, I'll leave some rations. Now tell me. One, what does this Fralcen and his companion look like? Two, you called that little man, Wolf Regheds…" Mia points to the Goblin. "Does this mean you guys formed an alliance with the Goblin tribe? If so, how big and strong is his clan? And the last question, are there any follower of Auril except you and Fralcen left in this cave?"

"Fralcen is a southerner fellow, maybe a bit of Uthgardt blood. Badly sewn wound at his cheek makes him look like he has a wicked smile all the time." the other prisoner chortles and the two glance at each other briefly, "He's the only one here that is gifted spells by the Maiden... that I've seen. There are other conscripts, local folk, some islanders. Dunno how many are in bed, or even here at all. We're about fifteen all." he shrugs, "But I don't know whoever came in with him this time. Like I said, gotta stay on post..." he points at the goblin again, "Yes, visitors from the Tribe of the Wolf. Not all goblins, there's a clan chieftain waiting to talk, probably settle an alliance."
"…I see. Thanks for the cooperation. Here is your ration. Don't eat them at once. Also I warn you, this cave is surrounded by other adventurers. You'll go nowhere even if you can break this cell!" Mia confidently walks away from the cell. But once she gets out of the view of the prisoners, the little Elf runs to her friends and whispers rapidly about what she has just learnt. "Crap! There are still eleven of them left with one divine caster! Some of them might be still in bed. But we are outnumbered. Van is right. Must find Gerard and Ionna first. We will definitely need more hands and spells soon. Oh and the cultists are planning to be friends with barbarians named Tribe of the Wolf. I smell something related to the fake warduke's plan."
"This is what happen when the blessed abandon the land to the wicked. Those tribes here have no choice but to accept help of any god, that promises protection, even of the most cruel one." Mihris shook her head. "Well, lets hope we find Gerard and Ionna in better conditions than these blood spots hint." She was ready to follow Vanys to the next passage.
"Well, if we're lucky the goblins actually hate them. Or we can slit some throats that are asleep... but its a bad situation to be certain. So, follow the blood trail then from earlier?" Red inquires
