Mihris straggled with the developing situation: whoever those people were, they chose to fight, and yet, it was the group who barged in their home. She still hesitated to take someone's life but could not leave her companions fighting alone either. The priest chose the best compromise she could and tried to shoot confused animal. Even if it was not the greatest treat, it was already attacking Red.
Dropping his torch, Red glances the room briefly and tosses a small vial-One that Vayns saw him carrying for warmth but a day ago. It tumbles briefly cracking before popping in an erupting pile of flames in the room, before he steps back slightly.
[ooc] harder to describe exact placements. I'm effectively trying to toss the Bonfire spell between the prisoner and the folks with weapons; but doing so in a way it looks like I failed to actually get it all the way to a baddy. As if he's scared and fumbled it abit. Rather than actively protecting the prisoner. As for the movement was jus ducking back slightly from the doorway to not block as much line of sight for allies; but Red is also fine with the "hold them in a tunnel where theycan't rush at once" since it looks like tight quarters.
I just did a quick copy past dirty edit to show rough areas I'm intending to mean. GM please adjust on your map as you see fit for grid and the like.
Mia touches three stones in her pouch. The pebbles starts glowing, shivering and buzzing like angry hornets. The little Elf grasps one of them and wounds up…but she can't throw it. It's not that druids are forbidden to harm animals. But Mia ende d a helpless animal which she had befriended for days. The pain still stuck in her heart like a poisoned thorn.
The sudden appearance of a raging bonfire in the middle of the room startles the wolf, prisoner, and robed figures, the one nearest to the cage jumps pressing himself close to the wall, more frightened by the fire than aware of the way to the cell door, which was just blocked. Just as Red takes a step back, he sees another crossbow bolt whooshing past the corridor and with a thunk followed by a cry as it sinks into the shaggy wolf fur.
The wounded wolf snarls and jumps forward, runs through the door and into the tunnel. It squeezes between Red and the stone wall, leering and baring its fangs threateningly at the artificer as it passes by, running further down the tunnel. As it reaches the rest of the group, trying to find a way out but failing with so many larger creatures surrounding it, it eventually lunges at the nearest Mihris, but its fangs slide harmlessly against the cleric's armor bracers.
With the wolf coming much closer and the robed figures getting their weapons, Vanys in a panic sends another spike of psychic energy into the wolf, hoping to take it out of the fight completely. He then backs up a little down the passageway so as not to get targeted by the robed figures immediately.
Bonus Action: None
Action: Cast Mind Sliver (Against Wolf) Wolf must make a DC 13 Intelligence Saving Throw; On a failure, Wolf takes 1Psychic Damage and must subtract 1d4 from his next saving throw
Move: 10 Feet Down (Moving past Mia is difficult terrain, but he should still have more than enough movement to move down a little.)

You finally hear, along with the crackling of the raging bonfire, shuffling coming from the chamber ahead, and the rasp of blades carelessly sliding against the rock as they are dragged along. The shadow shift and move as the robed figures charge ahead among indistinct shouts and curses, curved blades in hand and cruelty approaching bloodthirst in their eyes. However, as the first of them reaches the door in front of Red and comes into Mialee's sight, the small druid snaps her fingers and utters the single final word of a spell, causing a sudden energy to fill the room with the smell of fresh earth as roots start to crack the rock of the chamber ahead, filling the room while growing and twisting around the feet and ankles of the robed figures.
Prisoner Str Save: 16 Robed I Str Save: 21 Robed II Str Save: 7 Robed III Str Save: 15 Robed IV Str Save: 18
Only the first of the assailants to appear seems to be faster than the growing roots, shifting outside the room and jumping free of them while swinging a blade at Red. You can only hear as more shouting and curses erupt from the chamber as the others struggle against the roots.
The single free robed figure smiles at nearby Red and almost foams at the corners of his mouth while he swings the curved blade. The weapon finds a gap in the artificer's armor and bites his skin, coming out bearing a thin string of blood which seems to make his attacker even happier as he laughs wickedly.
The other robed figures are heard struggling against the roots in the chamber ahead.

It was really the last thing Mihris wanted to do, but the wolf was attacking and she had to defend if not herself then the others who were around. As sad and unpleasant as it was, she did what she had and stroke the animal with the mace:
Mia's face distorted as she watched the wolf fall. "Sorry. Puppy. It can't help'' When she looks up at the robed person, Mia's eyes are filled with burning emotions. " How dare you hurt my friend! And how dare you let us attack innocent animals! I'm so super freaking angry now!!" The little Elf chooses the sharpest stone in her bag and throws it at the opponent with all her might.
Thrown angrily form the hand of the small elf, the enchanted stone flies true and hits the robed human squarely on the forehead, and he wobbles dizzily on his feet for a moment as a string of blood flows down his angry face.

Redthrows his shield up between himself and the presumed-cultists obscuring their vision, then soft toss-rolls another vial under the shield. which cracks and flares a spurt of flames.
Since others are putting battle stuf in spoilers~ I wil to!

As Red slides off his vial, it cracks and the flames engulf the robed figure right in front of him, burning cloth and skin alike as he screams in pain, but still manages some determination to stand.

The sound of foliage shuffling and snapping roots tell of one of the robed figures ripping free of Mialee's magic, their heavy footsteps through the entangled area echo through the narrow tunnel as he approaches into view, pointing a curved sword at Red and snarling at the others "Get them!
