After casting Shatter, Manikin feels a surge of magic course through him and suddenly, as if by chance, Manikin casts Magic Missile at 5th level, all bolts aimed at Jessica, they Lance into her one after the other dealing 30 damage
(Magic Missile, apparently one of the more confusing spells of DnD, cast at 5th level has 7 darts, fyi)

Horatio Hirschfeld - Squire imbued with fae powers, in the Coliseum of Conquest (W2/L1) DM for Reavers of Harkenwold, and sometimes The Fighting Grounds of the Coliseum
Just so everyone knows what happened, Manikin rolled a 1 for Wild Magic Surge, which means he rolls on the Wild Magic Surge table. He did that and rolled a 10, which causes him to cast Magic Missile at 5th level.

Even though I'm flying above the arena I am unable to see her? If I have line of sight she couldn't be hidden from me, even if she hides. She'd have to have cover. Not to mention he saw where her arrow came from, so he would move towards that area.
(She hid after firing. Her stealth beat your perception. She does have cover in which to hide. Shatter doesn't require sight so you can definately hit with that. WMS be Wild...)
Manikin locates Jessica based on Grey's attacks. He blasts her boat and Shatters a fragment of reality. He loses control and seeks an outlet for his welling power. Ferrovax' snoring persists... Manikin releases the energy and the dragon-man stops his racket.
Polly swoops and hides with Grey, he fires an arrow and Jessica falls.
Congratulations, Calgin, Eider, Polly, Manikin, Nalok, and Grey. Medics emerge from the water with Calgin and revive him with his potion. The crowd cheers your victory.
Fontanne, Layla, Jessica, Nykkan, Lawrence, and Ferrovax awake sopping wet, which is the norm for Fontanne, and in thoroughly rough condition in the medic's office. They each gain 1200 xp and a purse containing 160 gold.
The Victors of the Sea Battle are brought down to the prize room. Inside...
Tier 1:
"Take any one item. We're well equipped." The room contains every item from Chapter 5 of the Player's Handbook weighing 70 pounds or less, armor of varying sizes, instruments, tool kits. There are also spell scrolls, every first level spell is present (as well as spell scrolls of a level for which a magic user of the characters new level would have slots for), and an encyclopedia of knowledge. Reading these books will grant you proficiency with any one of tool kit or any one language, depending which book you choose. The books are magically infused to allow easy retention, but the magic is lost once used.
Upper Tier:
The victor may choose instead, an item from a magically infused chest that summons 10 randomly selected magic items to choose from (rarity determined by level). Alternatively they may exchange a magic item for another item of their choosing of the same rarity or lower, if the administrator has the requested item in his extensive collection. "You name it, we've probably got one somewhere."
Lol my bad I missed that part.
