(He's had a total of 40 damage dealt to him, including his crimson rite damage.  I doubt he has 40 hit points at level 3.)

With meer moments to spare Polly summons a blade of darkness and strikes at Calgin in the fog, stopping the timer overhead. (Hitting 23 for 11 due to Calgin being unseen in the fog.)
