Roskin starts flipping the coin in the air, not paying any attention to the results. “You know, it sure is nice yo have someone else around to distract me. There’s only so much to see when walking through the forests by oneself.”
"I must say, it really is." He looks over to Roskin. "Hey, you wanna know how the story was 'supposed' to end?" He really seems to want to tell it, as if when he does, it'll come true again.

Nameless, Accursed Undead... Unfit, even to be Cinder... And so it is... That Ash, Seeketh Embers…”
"No. It is not." He sighs, and begins. "After the Coiled Fragment was collected, the Eyes of a Firekeeper would have been found, and the Ashen One would give them to their Firekeeper. Soon, after the Ashen One slew the Dragonslayer Armour, they would have traversed the Grand Archives to its very top, and would have slain Lothric and Lorian, the Twin Princes. Afterwards, their ashes would have to be returned to their thrones, and the Ashen One would be transported forwards in time, to the Fireless Shrine. Once outside, they'd look around to se the end of their world: The Dreg Heap, the collection of all the Kingdoms of Lordran, come to watch the Fire Fade. Over the cliff, on an ancient Archtree, would remain the Kiln of the First Flame. They would traverse the Fire, enter the Archtree, and summon the Firekeeper. She would betray her duties, shall the Ashen One wish it, and end the Reign of Fire once and for all."
He stops, proud of what he was resurrected for, and simply says, "And thus, the wheel finally stretches the chains too thin, and the chain will break, releasing the Age of Fire from its endless grasp."

"...I remember Siegward. I remember Eygon. I remember Anri, Horace, Greirat, Cornyx, Yoel, Solaire..." He stops for a second. "I remember my Firekeeper. She must be afraid. I have to go back. No. No, I'm not going back yet. There's still so much to learn. Things to learn about the Chosen and the Bearer. They expect me to know, so I have to know."
He stands there for a bit, looking back to the sky. He speaks after about a minute of silence. "I have to know... I deserve to know the truth." He turns to look back to Roskin, and says, "You deserve to know too."

"I don't know," he says. "Maybe he has some kind of magic seal or object which allows him to be invisible. I've heard of a spell in my world called 'Hidden Body,' but that just turns your body into a misty form for a good 30 seconds." He seems to know a lot about spells, even though he's a knight. "Do you want to hear a few other spells?"

“Ooh! Are you gonna blast some holes in the ground or levitate the camp fire or turn the sentry into a hippogryph or or......” Roskin glances around looking for more inspiration. After a bit he looks carefully at Avelyn. “ You sure you’re feelin a’right? No limp limbs or stopped heart or something?”
"No," he says simply, snapping his fingers on his right, creating sparks and embers. "although I wish I could, I cannot cast spells. Maybe one day, though. Also, I feel wonderful. Better that I have been." He says this, as his index finger bursts alight, as if it were some simple little 'Party Trick,' as Roskin would describe. "At least I can do this," he says as he changes the color of the flame from a warm orange, to a wrathful red, then a cool blue, and finally to a meadow green before being thrown at the campfire with surprising accuracy, coloring the fire to that warm orange again.

Roskin looks over at the fire as it flares, “That is a neat trick.” Then as if it was an afterthought “Whatdya suppose those teapots’ll use against us?”
"I don't know," he said. "I reckon, somewhere, they've got a Ballista. Some kind of walking metal Ballista we can use in our advantage. Either that, or they're bringing explosives. Gotta clear an area out somehow, right?"

“Clear it out? For what? They got a giant fire they need to build to boil some water?” Roskin nearly shout “Look I’m just a “little” guy I can’t stop no explosions or ballet walking cantaloupes. What's this captain expect of me?”
“Hey Illy you hearin this? You think you could heal someone that’s in multiple pieces?” Roskin starts looking around hoping the Aasimir would show up and give him some support.
"I believe our little 'Soldier' ally is asleep." He said this with an underlying satirical tone in his otherwise sarcastic voice. "He might just be a Night Owl."
