Roskin looks back. “Nah, he said in our tent. Which ones ours?” He starts walking to nearest tent and looks inside, “Hey, anyone in here know a Capn McNuggets or Major Ringworm?”

He took a stern look at Roskin, and said, "My friend here is asking if you've seen either Captain MacNujget, Major McGufim, or Colonel Rewom." He was trying to be as polite as possible, while also remaining alert. "Anyone know where our tent is?"

“Yeah them.” Roskin nods

Roskin walks into the tent like he owns the place, chest out, arms swinging, and head high. “Glad you could joi....” and stops talking as he hears ‘Take a seat’. His arms drop as he is deflated and heads over to the nearest seat. 

Avelyn walks inside, apologizes about Roskin, and takes a seat next to him. "Greetings, 'allies,'" He used the term loosely. "I believe you were waiting for us?"

We have gained slight information. The third has been demolished, but the few that survived have reported to us that there are many and they have drivers. Now we have a spy on the inside because we now know what to expect and where. -THUD! THUD! THUD!- RRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!

Everyone roll perception at DC 15 to see what is making the ruckus in the distance, or an intelligence check to make an assumption

Ruskin sees eight large machines and sixteen smaller machines in the distance

Roskin taps Avelyn on the hip, points, and calmly asks “Hey Grim? Those those walking banisters you were talking about?” 
The halfling starts to pull his dagger snd mace out. “If so then we might be in a world of hurt.”

He takes a look, and says quietly, "I don't believe so. Ballistas are usually rolled in on wheels into position."
