As you go about the task of cleansing the shrine the old rituals and chants come back to you with sudden clarity. You direct the others to carry out the various tasks required to apply the holy oil and finally reach up to light the brazier that hangs above the shrine. As you whisper the final prayer a bright white light infuses the chamber and you all feel a sudden sense of deep inner peace along with sense of sudden nourishment and health. (all take 2d6 temporary HP as the blessing of Bahamut infuses you.).
Lostur :
The shadow within you holds you back from the blessing and you only take half of the healing rolled.
Lostur looks disgruntled, but a little less upset than he did for the previous two encounters they faced. "Well, let's get on to the next shrine," he tells the others. "Those creepy hands need to get put back in their proper places with their owners after all." He leads the way towards the next shrine, keeping an eye out for more problems:
Making your way to the second set of steps you descend toward the next shine only to find it missing. The small stone pedestal that would normally act as the chambers centre peace seems to have been removed and in its place a glowing yellow sigil has been daubed on the ground. Brenvull you find this especially odd as you would know that the shrines are not portable. They are literally part of the floor.
Brenvull looks at the sigil and does not recognise the symbols, they are not derived from a language you understand; and they are definitely not supposed to be here. What is more, as you study them you feel a sudden wave of fatigue pass through your body.
"What was that?!" returning to his more grumpy self Brenvull frantically looks around. He is searching for some indication to try and understand where the shrine went.
"Hmph," Lostur says, pulling out his yklwa. "Maybe it's just an illusion and the shrine's still there." He does a couple of passes in the air over the sigil with the weapon, in the space where the shrine would be were it still in existence, trying to see if he hits anything.
Kray you see no clear sign of what might have happened here to remove the shrine.
Lostur as you carefully swing your weapon around the room you get no resistance and strike no invisible objects.
Brenvull you have working for the temple your entire life. You can see no physical sign of the shrine bring moved. Nothing else seems out of place except for the glowing sigil which is completely alien to you. It is truly a mystery and despite all the evidence to the contrary you can not escape the feeling that the shrine is still in the room. They are holy objects and you have almost a sixth sense for them when you are in their presence. You are almost certain the shrine is still here.
As you all ponder the mystery of the missing shrine and alien sigil the weasel returns and scampers up your leg Lostur.

Brenvull, who still clearly is somehow happy, triest to keep up with Lostur on his way to the next shrine.
Making your way to the second set of steps you descend toward the next shine only to find it missing. The small stone pedestal that would normally act as the chambers centre peace seems to have been removed and in its place a glowing yellow sigil has been daubed on the ground. "What nature of ungodly magics has permeated our home?" Lorvax fumes. "It all seems so senseless, so devoid of logic."

Lostur crosses his arms and squints at the sigil. ""Anybody can read that?" he asks gruffly. "I don't speak magic."
"What?! Where is the shrine?! They are fixed to the ground for Bahamut's sake!"
(Does Brenvull have any idea what the sigil would do?)
Brenvull looks at the sigil and does not recognise the symbols, they are not derived from a language you understand; and they are definitely not supposed to be here. What is more, as you study them you feel a sudden wave of fatigue pass through your body.

"So?" Lostur asks. "Don't fall asleep on the job! What's it say?" He prods Brenvull impatiently. "Should we get that elk to step on it or something?"

To most of your great surprise, it looks like Lostur is trying to swing carefully and in a way that doesn't damage anything if he hits it.
