The paladin swoons back from the blows of the spider, it's venom coursing through his veins. He takes a deep breath, calling on the power of Tyr to purge the poison, then calls on his faith for protection in this dark place, reading the holy words written on a piece of parchment affixed to the inside of his shieid. A glowing nimbus surrounds the paladin.
ooc: Uses the last of his healing pool to purge the poison then casts Shield of Faith on himself.
The creature lets out what sounds like a sinister chuckle as it takes hold of your mind and ensnares you, charming you for the next day (in which you obey its commands and can't take reactions).
@Thavriol:
In the back of your mind, you hear the voice you heard earlier. "Defend me. And kill the others unless they surrender."
Nolla, hidden, peeks around the corner and sends an arrow towards the only remaining spider-creature...
Attack: 18 Damage: 15
She then hides again... 10
...
(OOC - I'd say no sneak attack bonus here as there isn't anyone other than Thavriol in melee with the creature and at this point, Thavriol is not combative with it. Thavriol instead appears to have dropped his guard and weapon lowered to his side and looks to be listening to an unheard voice. But your attack still hits, so 6 damage still.)
Alix once again extends his hand and in an unearthly voice snarls “BEHOLD!” and sends a purplish/black crackling beam of Eldritch Blast towards the creature.

Sorry to disagree here, but she has advantage on the attack from being hidden. You can do sneak attack as long as you have advantage on the attack.

As Nolla and Alix's attacks hit, the creature looks rather hurt as green ichor seeps from its wounds. Sienna's surge forward is quickly parried away by one of the creature's legs, but she spins and gathers her footing ready to parry the next attack.

(OOC - He communicated it telepathically to you as part of the charm. Also, other than you not attacking the creature, the others may not necessarily tell that you've been charmed either at this point. Depending on your actions, they might know quite obviously, or it could remain a question as to what is going on with Thavriol. The others can roll insight if it remains uncertain, eg. you don't attack them.)
ooc: i think its just adjusted for whos gone
Sienna Fulgurflash, Bard 3 - Child of the Stormy Sea - Alycron West Marches
Yian Do'Garon, Ranger 5 - Dragonfriend
(OOC - yeah, I'm just adjusting it after each round so the next person up is first in line.)
(Who is up? Who are we waiting on?)
ooc: Mine...sorry. I missed Siena's post.

Tandor the White, Human Life Cleric
(OOC - Thought I had rolled this one, but have just realised I hadn't.)
Back Creature Wisdom Save: 6
Initiative Order: Nolla > Alix > Sienna > Thavriol > Guard Creatures
The spidery creature engaged with Thavriol hisses and glares at Thavriol (Wisdom Save against charm).
The other creatures lets out a hissing screech as it runs out through the other tunnel from the room, disappearing from sight.
Thavriol feels the mind of the creature reaching out the ensnare him and he fights it, silently asking Tyr for strength.
WIS save: 13
ugh...that's the best I could do with Advantage!

Thavriol waves his shield at the arrow as it speeds by but fails to intercept it.
Tandor the White, Human Life Cleric
(OOC - specific to the creature. It enslaves a character to its bidding for an extended period.)

Tandor the White, Human Life Cleric
(OOC - ah, that's true. I had forgotten about the hiding. All good.)
OOC: I think Sienna's up so I'll do her post now but feel free to overide if I'm wrong
Sienna surges forward "You'll not subjugate us so easily, you face the might of the sea!"
With that she will strike out with a Defensive Flourish

(OOC - Thavriol is still enslaved by the creature, and it commanded him to defend him and kill the others if they don't submit. No reactions though.)
OOC: He has not actually heard the thing tell them to submit, correct? That being the case, can Thavriol default to defending the thing?
