Captain Isaac would probably just carouse a little, around the settlement, and squeeze in a long rest somewhere. Joining back up with the party, fresh, in the morning.
At dawn the centurion takes you to the outskirts of the citadel. Ariving at a sharp cliff face he turns to you.
"Normally the information on these archives is not revealed to anyone outside of the citadel high command and those trusted elites who move items there once in a century. Due to the situation with the human incursions, you will come to know this too. But you must swear an oath not to reveal this to anyone else, unless you become the ranking citadel command yourselves."
He takes out a glowing magical scroll, and hands it towards you.
The scroll glows each for each person pledging, and you names appear on it. The centurion puts the scroll away and presses a seemingly empty spot on the cliff face. With a click, a passage opens in the rock, a door wide enough for two ment to walk side by side.
"I hope you find whatever you are looking for about gods in there."
You descend down, feeling the weight of a small moutain over your heads. The well illuminated tunnel leads to an open door, that takes you to what seems to be a large entry hall. The layer of dust on the marbled floor indicates that noone has been in this room for some time. Luminescent crystals in the walls provide dim lighting for the room. Statues and mural inscriptions decorate the walls. Several doors lie at the other end of the room.
He steps into the mountain and once inside, his eyes flash with divine sense (As an action, you can detect good and evil. Until the end of your next turn, you can sense anything affected by the hallow spell or know the location of any celestial, fiend, undead within 60 ft. that is not behind total cover.)
He walks over toward the doors, curious if they are open or closed.
Captain Isaac heads in after the others and does one big swaggering loop around the first room, seeming to not really be taking any of it in, and focusing more on the deliberately lopsided lilt of his swagger than anything else. He seems happy with the overall effect though.
The sharp eyed among the party might notice he already has a dagger out, in his off-hand, held reverse grip so it runs up the back of his forearm, mostly out of sight.
“Arrr!… ‘Tomorrow’…. Aye! That’s… what I meant. Yarr!….”, corrects Captain Isaac.

Anything anyone wants to do before the next morning?
((Nope))
Firebolg will go camp in the woods nearby, or at least somewhere not under a roof.

"Agreed."
The firebolg will take the scroll and scan its contents.

Leesha waits impatiently for her turn to read the scroll and also agrees.
Isaac agrees, “Arrr!… You have my word, so you do! I swear on the code….”.

Leesha nods for the bugbears to take the lead before following.
The firebolg strides forward, no lion at his side today, but his red bird flits down and lands on his shoulder.

The firbolg is glad to see it's illuminated and that he can keep his fire under wraps for now. He'll take a look at the closest mural or statue.

"Shun swear" the other bugbear says, when asked.
