In our campaign we are arguing about: "As a part of casting the spell, you can form a circle on the ground with the blood used as a material component. The circle is large enough to encompass your space. While the spell lasts, the summoned demon can't cross the circle or harm it, and the it can't target anyone within it. Using the material component in this manner consumes it when the spell ends. " Can this circle be erased by some other creature and disable a protection it gives against the demon?
I'd say it can be erased by someone other than the demon. This does not means, though, that the demon would disappear or that he would attack the summoner, just that the summoner would be exposed to him if he so decides to rebel. Technically speaking, the summoner would not necessarily need to draw the circle, for instance if he's summoning a specific demon he already has a contract with, I suppose.

I think it could be destroyed by a creature other than the summoned creature, but that they wouldn't necessarily understand the purpose of the circle or the right way to destroy it without either having acquired that information or succeeding on a knowledge check.
The spell mentions that the summoned demon cannot cross or harm the circle. It doesn't say anything else on the matter, so for all other intents and purposes, it's a normal blood circle on the floor. At the mercy of other creatures, a Watery Sphere (or any other kind of watery/bloody/cleany spell), or even a standard mop.
I will point out, as was mentioned above, that you don't actually need to create that circle - in fact, you only lose the material component if you do. Then again, it's probably a good idea if you don't have other means of protection.
I'm still sad that you can only summon demons (with this) or Devils (with Infernal Calling) but that there are fiends you can't summon because they aren't categorized as either- Succubi/Incubi are within the spell's CR category for instance but count as neither because they can serve both.

Can you cast the blood circle affect while still using the spellcasting focus.
