I have a barbarian player using path of the zealot. This gives his silver hammer an extra 1d6+1 radiant. He is attacking a gray ooze, that corrodes non-magical weapons on a hit. I was wondering if the extra radiant damage lets him avoid the corrosion. Thanks.
It doesn't say it becomes a magical weapon, so it will still be corroded.
Something like the Forge Clerics, Blessing of the Forge would be something that would avoid the corrosion as it states it becomes a magical weapon.

"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."
