Hi, so I'm wondering about how spell slots work in terms of multi classing with en eldritch knight. In the rules it says that you have the number of lots equal to the number of levels in a spell casting class (bard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, and wizard) and half rounded down in ranger or paladin, but what about eldritch knight? I thought that maybe it would count as half like ranger but I'm not sure how it would actually work cause its still technically a fighter.

in the PHB, it says that Eldritch Knight or the Arcane Trickster levels count a third (rounded down).
As Filcat said, which is in Player's Handbook, page 164, or here, at the paragraph "Spell Slots".
