Have a question that I couldn't find an obvious answer to, so my apologies if it's well known ...
As a Paladin, if I were to somehow acquire a familiar, could I use it's final ability to deliver class features such as "Lay on Hands" or "Cleansing Touch"? I understand the Find Familiar wording clearly says "spell", so I guess am more curious if there's a consensus on how much DM discretion / persuasion would be required :)
"Finally, when you cast a spell with a range of touch, your familiar can deliver the spell as if it had cast the spell. Your familiar must be within 100 feet of you, and it must use its reaction to deliver the spell when you cast it. If the spell requires an attack roll, you use your attack modifier for the roll."
Well, as written (and possibly intended :p ), you can't do that.
I don't think anything breaks, though - a little more range to a limited pool of healing never hurt anyone. So, with a good thematic tie-in, I'd personally allow it in my game.
As written, it is clear that class features aren't spells (except if they specifically say they are, at least), so a familiar can't deliver lay on hands or the like.
As a DM, I'd probably not allow it because a familiar already lets you cast spells like cure wounds through it and the paladin could just do that if they were really concerned about healing allies from a distance as opposed to finding a way to heal at a distance while still dedicating all spell slots to something like divine smite.

Thanks!
