Power Word spells and temp HP

Does Temp. HP count towards your the HP requirement for casting Power Word spells on a target? Just wondering if there is a rule on this.

Because you never add Hit Points and Temporary Hit Points the Power Word spells don't count them in.

Agile_DM is correct temporary hit points are separate from your actual hit points so Power Word don't count them.
