I cant seem to figure out how to apply the lingering injuries.. Is it on a crit? OR when thy take too much damage? Whats the difference betwene this and the massive damage charts? Can i use them both?
Massive damage refers to taking copious amounts of damage without being reduced to 0 HP, and are immediate effects such as dropping to 0 HP instantly. Lingering injuries can be applied when a crit or knockout occurs, and are semi-permanent. Both are optional rules and not mutually exclusive.
