If I move away from a creature's reach and it takes an opportunity attack on me, do I have to then complete my movement away from it after the OA occurs, or can I change my mind once the interrupting attack occurs?
For example, I move away from an enemy with warcaster feat, and I am hit by a Booming Blade attack, can I then decide not to move in order to avoid the damage?
Yes because Opportunity Attack take place before you finish moving away, Booming Blade will be used while you are still within reach, so you can then continue moving and take damage or stay where you are.
